    I think that the stopping power really just depends on the density of the material used in making the blocks and how thick they are....... because what we're wanting is for the velocity to become zero....... so if the element in the block is very dense, less number of blocks will be used

    The stopping power depends on the work function of the material .
    Proof
    Hv = 1/² mv^2+ ¢. (¢ is work function )
    If ¢ is very heigh 1/2 which is kinetic energy will be zero. So the particle will stop. Here kinetic energy of the beam is neglected because it depends on the beam it self. I mean if ist a electron the Kinetic energy will be more than if it's proton. And if it's a photon. it will have very less.

    V°- stopping potential

    Well according to me the 3rd or 4th wall because the when a beam strikes on a first matter wall it deposits it's maximum kinetic energy to it and can move few blocks further away .

    There has been deployed strong magnetic field to give particle a constant movement & not bombarding the whole wall of magnetic so it can't be passes or crosses out from the LHC but incase at the opening point it may leak then can be goes far from this place or above 100mt to the ground.

    For Eg the speed of a bullet from a gun that can hit 4 and 5 walls but not a water tank when the bullet endors in water tank the water will stop the pressure of speed of the bullet and the bullet will be stopped

    I think the speed of the particle in LHC is not 80 cr km/s , as it is much more than the speed of light (3 lakh km/s). Please check it once.

      Actually no, the LHC is almost 8.1 km long they use the long way to oscillate the particles so a gun can't be that long

    Particle beams can travel in Hard Vacuum only. Actually the beam path is a chamber of highest possible vacuum. So how could he enter the hard Vacuum chamber. At normal pressure particle beams have a few cm path length which is utilised for medical purposes.

    I've one q umm.....pehle aapne starting mein bola particles speed of light se travel krte hai 80 cr km/sec pr pehli baat to speed of light 3×10⁸ m/sec hoti hai around 30 crore meter per sec or baad mein aapne protons ki speed 30 cr km/sec btayi and acc to theory of relativity no particle which have mass can approach speed of light...

    80cr km/S is wrong By MKS unit system and also its more then speed of light (108cr km/h) which is also impossible. The correct is 80cr Km/H which is aprox 80% of speed of light.

    At 2:52 you told that particle speed is 30 Cr km/s speed which is greater than Speed of light ( equal to 3 lac km/s ) .
    This is not possible.

    Guys when he is saying 1 billion electron volt don't thinking it's some very big energy. It's is big but not as we are thinking.
    1eV = 1.602×10-19 J . Because of this relation because 1ev is veryyyyyyyy small unit of energy and when u convert in in joule it won't me much. The damage caused is due to the radiation and ionising effect of the partical not just the kinetic energy . And strong beam can be stopped by using strong electric field . Depends if the article are negative or positive. And for a matter to stop it , it depends on the work function of that material . If it is very Heigh than that matter will absorb all the particles and if less than the beam incident on the material will kick off some electron of that matter and can be directed by a director . It will generally produce current if proper electric field to direct the beam is provided. With proper circuit to detect the current.
