I never knew the names of the I 90 Bridges until today. This came at a good time as I'm considering a few trips to Downtown Bellevue

Super awesome animations and production value! To be honest I never thought of Bellevue way and 112th as cycling infrastructure but now that you point it out definitely could work well for lower speed riders. I'd still have aversion to riding on sidewalks with my main road bike.

I looked for a route that would be flatter, since the other 2 routes have some big hills that are less bike-friendly. This seems to be a good option since the pathway isn't very busy, but I agree with you on being hesitant about riding a faster bike on a sidewalk.

There is going to be a lot of construction on the I-90 Trail in the near future, but it is easy to use the streets to the north as a detour. Even get rid of one hill doing that!

The construction is going to be very disruptive, for sure. Are the streets friendly for newer riders? I aimed to show routes that could be done by most people in my videos, but useful detours would be great to know.

@@bobco85 yeah, the route through the neighborhood north of the trail is pretty car light.

So cool. Makes me want to try a loop across the lake using both bridges.

Go for it! And it's interesting to think that such a bike ride was impossible until the 520 Trail opened on the bridge in December 2017.

Love the videos! I would find it useful if you had Strava routes for all these different routes you showed. It would make doing the ride a lot easier in the future. Thanks again for all the great information.

Thank you! Is there a way to download the RideWithGPS route and upload it to Strava? I have a paid RideWithGPS subscription; that's why I use it for my routes. I think it's possible to download the route in formats like GPX, KML, and others, so maybe that would help in downloading the route information. Hopefully that helps.
