/ @ajrestoration This was my very Second restoration, I was still living in Ireland at that time. I had some free time on my hands and since I liked restoring things I decided to try and video this one. I was not really serious about restoring, it was more a pastime thing.
Just a friendly reminder, the quality, and workmanship are not nearly as good as my newer videos, it's purely for you my viewers to see how far we have come. As the channel grows, so will the quality. Thank you all and please stay safe!

Great work! The label was the cherry on the cake for me!
Thank you! Cheers!
Très très beau travail! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Just found two of the same style oil cans in a garden shed clear out, definitely going to do a restoration job on them. Think they’ll look fab’ with my Mamod collection 🇬🇧
Sweet and a very good Job ❤️👍👍❤️
Thank you very much

Thank you Brian, I appreciate the kind comment, stay safe!🍺👍
Good restoration! I hadn't seen that brand name since my childhood. The Johnson Smith Co. here in the states sold miniature model steam engines under that brand name.
I think this was made for the mini steam engines
Dope💯
Oh my gosh I love tiny oil cans!😍😍😍😍🤣❤❤❤❤
You and me both!
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Okay..... so we need another video of you hopping away.... Nice
Hahaha thank you! The other videos also has a weird little ending.
Bonjour , tysy tube , c'est très belle huile momad ! 👍👍👍💪😘🤩🤩🤜🤛
💪😘🤩🤜🤛
👌👌👌👌👌
Beautiful work!
Thank you so much 😀
Nice job! In the future, if you need to paint something like this, put a nail into a pc of wood, cut the head off and slip the spout over it. Makes it easier to hold and rotate.
That's exactly what I was thinking, thank you!
That is actually a really good idea! Noted!
I was wondering what the heck you was doing messing with paint stripper without gloves!! Minus the emblem being off just a bit LOL It looks wonderful!! You did a great job restoring it! Keep up the great work!!!
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Thank you so much, The emblem was a little tricky, I only had one chance, and one sticker. So if it settled, its done haha
@@AJRestoration LOL You are welcome

That was cool. Don't know why but I've got a soft spot for oil cans and wood handle mechanic wrenches. If I see one I try to buy it most of the time they give them to me.
Same here, I have a thing for old oil cans!
Me: No way he can restore this
AJ: Hold my oil can
Very nice. All new again. Wondering if the baby card had deeper meaning though, apart from the old oiler being given new life, (thoughts like that come from having a wife that would continually speculates on these sorts of things, until you do too. Life used to be simple...).
The card was to symbolise the birth of a freshly restored baby blue oiler haha, I did have a little daughter not too long before the restoration though.
@@AJRestoration Congrats. Pink would have looked a little strange on the oiler though, lol.
Would like to see how you go about making the different labels please
The labels I ordered online on Ebay.
🤩🤩😎😎😎
Interesting…. Thought that was a pump plunger and that he got the title wrong, but no, it was a triggered shut off = allowing you to tip the spout down into inaccessible areas and being able to control the oil flow 😉
If you rub it well, the genie will come out of it
If only hahahaha.
Very cool tiny oiler.
Had to give this a thumbs down though because of the finish. Prep was excellent but "spurt" painting leaves an awful finish. Try waving the can from side to side with a steady stream of paint. Begin the spray before it begins to coat the item and let up after its off. Light coats too.
You'll be amazed at the result. If you follow up with a wet sand and another coat the finish will be superb. Just sayin'
Great work 👏👏👏
Much appreciated
