Took that 15 bucks for the whatnot, never used the app before. Went to a random shop doing a wheel spin for packs, ended up getting a foil land tax from wilds of eldrain...I call that a win
The most powerful deck I built this year was definitely a black panther token build, it’s able to produce 100s of mana a turn an I’ve made a 6000 power vorinclex in one turn.
I made an Alania otter deck and it is disgusting. 9-0 so far, haven’t played it in a month cuz my friends complain now lol turns out a commander that copies up to 3 spells per turn is REALLY good
Absolutely 100% disagree with Coram being at #2 cuz the other commanders you showed just combo much much better, but he IS my favorite commander of the year. Love my Coram deck, self mill reanimate is so much fun in Jund
I guess i"m not smart enough for these decks because I don't see how any of these commanders actually play out as well as you describe. Stella Lee is neat and all, and I see the combo you're mentioning yes, but you have to have first cast 3 spells in that same turn. Yeah you're in blue so you just use cantrips but that is still 3 mana minimum and then the additional 1 mana for Cerulean Wisps. Draw your deck, fine. But now what? You just used 4 mana to do that. And if you only just cast your commander on curve last turn, where is the mana to win the game coming from now? Voja is another cool commander that I wouldn't mind playing, but I cannot understand why it works. You need a big field of creatures to get any meaningful value, and any smart opponent will hold up that extra 3 mana to pay the ward cost. Also board wipes get around the ward cost while also ruining your entire set up. Please help me understand why this commander is anything relevant at all. Rakdos the Muscle also looks fun, but once again, I don't quite see the line of play here. You only get the exiled cards for the turn you're currently on. If you sacrifice a big CMC creature, you're likley never going to be casting more than 1 or 2 of the exiled cards. Seems like such a waste. Again, where is the mana coming from? I understand you have low cost cards in this deck too, but unless you have a a surplus of mana on the turn you cast Rakdos, you have to basically pass and untap with him before you can start benefiting from any value. Once again, I'm asking for help understanding this. I'm not attacking anyone. The fact that i don't recognize the lines of play with these commanders is exactly proof of why I still kinda suck at the game. Help me learn.
Check his Coram. I made him and it's soooooooooooooo powerful, had some sick win ratio and had to put it on the shelf for a while :P. Check all the decks in their own separate vids and you'll understand why they're so op
Stella Lee works especially well with fast mana, as you can easily win with Thassa's Oracle after you draw your deck, with plenty of counter magic to protect your combo if need be. Not to mention the 3 spells can also be free. Voja is very resilient and provides you with card draw and a ramping Craterhoof effect every turn. Since your deck is mostly Elves and changelings (mana dorks and other cheap and efficient creatures) Voja often comes down as soon as turn 3 and is hard to stop without a boardwipe, which they can have plenty of answers for with the amount of card draw Voja provides. And also because the elves are mostly mana dorks, spot removal for Voja usually just delays the Voja player very little, especially if they have haste. Rakdos I don't think is super broken but definitely quite effective as a removal resistant free sac outlet with relevant keywords. The commander gets powered up the better the decks on the table are, for example cEDH lists would likely have massive value if you were to impulse draw, say 7 cards, especially in a metagame where most decks run a lot of same cards.
Checking out the individual deck techs will definitely give you the information you’re looking for 😁 Mostly the trick is to utilize cards that generate more mana than they cost. There’s definitely more nuance to it but that’s the tldr version 😁
I play Stella Lee. Pretty much on a budget. And believe me, as soon as she comes out, it's pretty much a countdown (or you have a spell, that gives her haste) There's many instants and sorceries that net you your mana back or make a treasure or the like. It can draw your whole deck, generate infinite mana and snipe opponents with massive X spells, that you can copy to snipe additional opponents. When I play Stella Lee my playgroup knows to remove her as soon as she hits the board, or they have 1-2 turns max

I feel like ygra eater of all should be on this list
Nadu wasn't a commander. It was a mistake

How would you build a Yoshimaru, ever faithful and rograk commander deck?

Coram was already super good before Duskmourn, but adding Valgavoth, Terror Eater was the best upgrade I could ask for
Great video thanks !!!

Coram def worse than the gitrog
Red adds a ton of utility if the gitrog was Jund I’d 💯 agree 😁
