I agree with the cat's opinion. "Meow", indeed...

Think you went a bit overboard on you're theory... Fez isn't THAT in-depth. It's simple, the left dot stands for LT, and the right for RT.
The code is LT RT LT RT LT LT LT RT LT LT RT RT LT LT
Thank you for putting this video up. I wouldn't have cracked it if you hadn't. I got annoyed at having to keep trying to get it down, then having to wait till morning passed to keep trying. Again, thanks!
Oh, and the reason it's not as longer is because it repeats.

Just hit Lt Rt Rt Lt Rt to get the red
    Heart

O shit! Yeah, it really is one massive coincidence since there doesn't appear to be any repetition of the pattern. That is even more incredible than the actual solution.

Fez is that in depth actually. The puzzle he's talking about is for 1 of the heart pieces. A puzzle that was said to be practically impossible by Polytron

I discovered it by accident while trying for the tetrimino code in the same room. It's easy to miss... when you're not staring at the west side of the telescope room for 30 minutes!

if you put fotcorn's binary code into a translator it will tell you the combination

So does this mean we have to do something with the telescope, or is it a clue for something later in the game?
Btw you are a genious who discovered this. I would never have thought of this.

Thank you for the tip about it being binary =) I think you just got the bits reversed, but who knows, there might be more to it.

I had a theory about these lights regarding the Monolith room... do these lights change pattern after you get the red cube? Their position mirrors the position of the two spots on the Polytron Infinity symbol, though if rotated 90 degrees to the left, the 'numbers' in the infinity symbol become '0' and '4'... Perhaps there's some way to convert this pattern into the 7 move solution to the Monolith Puzzle?

i think you might be on to something. This is the first game i ever played where i assumed that the computer was talking back to me in binary, eather that or morse code but I don't know any morse

Is that true? I wouldn't know, I don't speak robot. XP
Either way though, I've played through the game 3 times and got this using the same method I posted, so I guess it just depends on how deep you really want to go into it. I'm just saying that while the binary thing might work, not all puzzles have only one path to the solution. ;-)

Wait so which is true?? Was it really supposed to be a near-impossible binary code? Because I just did what firekirby did and walked out without a second thought. :(

Is the code different on the PC version? I did "RTLTLTRTRTLT" like a thousand times, and never got the red cube. I tried doing LT RT LT RT LT LT LT RT LT LT RT RT LT LT (just copying the dots) as well but that didn't work either. Has anyone gotten this in PC? How?

The game was released as a Xbox Live Arcade Exclusive, so they had the gamepad in mind when making this puzzle. It should be the same.

It's all good, I got it to work eventually. I forget how though lol
