Hitting up the record store to cop a cassette or CD, calling into the radio station to request a song play from a house phone or car phone (if you were ballin) was a thing. Overall it was slower paced than today's highpaced move on to the next thing / instant gratification culture. I really miss being a teen in the 90s.
