I'm an Indian, born and raised in KSA. I grew up around different kinds of Arabs (Saudis, Yemenis, Palestinians, Egyptians, Syrians and Lebanese). It gave me a broader mindset and helped me connect and find similarities between Indian and various Arab cultures. I've picked up so many Arab values and mixed them with our own Indian values. It's truely mesmerizing and overall a great experience!
Few of those like you enjoy coexistence and experience in the diversity of Arab cultures, their way of life, livelihood and customs

I lived in ksa for 13 years of my life. Saudi has changed a lot now. The rules related to women have eased down. And its way better than what it was 4-5 years ago.

After watching this I'm so happy and feel privileged to have been born in India. Here we lead a simple life but at least we have the full freedom to wear what we want and go wherever we want to. I know here as well there are some narrow minded people who pose a threat on our safety too, but at least here There's a sense of being free as a bird. ❤️❤️❤️

Hello Dear, I am Saudi who loves INDIA so much. Wanted to say that come to Saudi Arabia now. Its different, and most of what you have mentioned as not allowed are actually ALLOWED nowadays. It is really sad and bad that we had limited meaning of freedom but now we are more cautious about our rights and Saudi girls become the most famous girls comparing to other Arab countries in rephrasing the meaning of women’s rights and most ladies are feminists currently Hehe. 🌸

Saudi Arabia has changed a lott over the years .....I almost forgot how it was those days, I remember my mom describing the lifestyle in KSA same like u did but now even though the lavish , luxurious lifestyle remains the same , freedom and women rights have increased generously .....it almost seems like women r ruling the country now ...hehe :)

I am from saudi , and now in saudi u don't have to wear abaya and women r allowed to drive too ...and aramco was not made just for Americans it was made for everyone who works in aramco and all nationalities can live there if they worked in aramco(my mum works in aramco). And now we have movie theaters in saudi 😌✌️....and now we have more freedom , we can go to the mall alone also😏✌️...now most of the shops r run by women only.

For someone who’s lived a good part of her life in Saudi, it is disappointing how she stereotypes & generalises everything about that country. I have a number of good friends from Saudi here in the US at my university, all of whom haven’t ever strictly adhered to any crazy rules mentioned in this video or had a problem with the ‘conservative’ society that apparently takes away their ‘freedom’. In the end, I think it totally dependent on a person’s personality as to whether they like a place/country or not - not all people in the world like to exaggerate and dramatise every small thing like we Indians do (another stereotype?)

Since ksa is a religious country hence all the rules and laws are abiding to islam. Its not really gender inequality , its how people perceive it. Our religion respects people irrespective of gender , caste, creed and it totally fair for everyone and surely has best reasons behind the rules we are supposed to follow.
