Literally only threw it twice and in the fourth, it was open a bunch throughout the game in windows between zones with room to run upfield and he took checkdowns that were tighter most of the time instead.
Can WRs, RBs, and TEs be subbed in at QB (wildcat if necessary)? If so, my idea for the wheel is: for every completed pass, the player who caught it takes over as QB until the next completion, and so on. If a ball is fumbled on a running play, the player who recovered it is made QB if possible (if not, just use the same QB from the previous play).
He plays a bunch of Madden/NCAA Football and he's still awful. I just don't get it. Like, pause at 6:16 and just look. He makes the worst possible read there.
I agree with Will and them but this does show that just playing a game alot doesn't improve your skills at it, it can but it will plateau, as opposed to having a focus while playing like "this time i'll try to take less sacks" or "I'll try to make 2 reads on each play before scrambling" stuff like that. Idc I just like to watch a non expert play broken football game
@@jaketomas1234 Doing something a lot poorly doesn't make you better at doing the thing. You have to not do the thing poorly in the first place, but there is no reason for him to do that because he plays football games like every other RUclipsr.
Drew, not sure if you had seen it, but Secret Base (previously known as SB Nation) did an entire short series on just 1 play for an entire season in the NFL.
This is why EA will NEVER be simulation football. I had a game on my Atari 800 called Computer Quarterback all the way back in 1984. The computer kept a tendency file and if you tried to run the same play over and over, it would adjust. FORTY years later and EA can manage that one simple thing.
Honestly, I think, kicking for the extra point would qualify as a different play on offense. You should’ve done two point conversions with the same play.
In Madden 08 (which I played for over a decade, because it was the last Madden on PC for that long), the combination of a slant from the wideout and a 5-yard out-route from the slot receiver on the same side resulted in a guaranteed pick play where one of the two always (and I mean ALWAYS) wound up completely open, even on All-Madden difficulty. This resulted in actual 100% completion rate seasons from just a single play. Newer versions of the game have much bouncier and weirder collisions, so it doesn't really work reliably enough anymore.
the play is called flanker dRive Drew :) The two flanker receivers run a so called drive concept (a deep dig route and a drag combo) which is generally used to create a high low read on the linebackers inside
Chaos Wheel idea: Every drive a random player is out for the drive. Due to randomness like their helmet strap is missing, they're tired, they just don't feel like it or anything goofy like that to add to the chaos
I was playing the other day and I was thinking it be cool if madden did a coach calls your plays mode. Where you play whatever play is called the whole game, offense and defense. I think it would be rewarding to win that way. I know a lot of people wouldn’t want that because they use broken plays to win games a lot, but it be a cool challenge to do. Definitely would show a players skills in the game more.
I feel like based on the wording, you still shoulda had to run Flanker for extra points as well. Maybe I just wanna see Flanker all the time I love that play
The one play was working fantastic albeit man you wished the defense did more. Still entertaining. Maybe try a chaos play of all run plays, no passing.
Been playing madden 23 and actually having fun on carrier mode as quarter back. If I can’t find anyone to throw it to I just run it and dive and I barley just make it to the 1st down sometimes it’s so funny
Your two QB system gave me an idea for the Chaos wheel, might be too hard though: Only one of your QB's can throw touchdowns, but he may ONLY throw touchdowns.
X is wide open on the left if the time 😅😅 sheeshhh watching you play is like nails on a chalk board sometimes but i love your content but just like in real games im like HES OPEN CMON!! LOL
Yo drew do you think you could have the title just be chaos series episode x, then change it after a day to the normal titles, that way we actually don’t know what the wheel spin will be
What about can only select punt return on defense and field goal on offense; can audible to any Defensive or offensive play but must use the formations personnel (can't substitute players at different positions. i.e qb at kicker)
Everyone talking about him not throwing to A, but what about him calling it Flanker Dive the entire video despite seeing the name of the play 50 times...
"Medium passing is our game plan because of this play", then proceeds to ignore the A receiver for most of the game 😂
Ong I was like when is he gonna hit the dig
Literally only threw it twice and in the fourth, it was open a bunch throughout the game in windows between zones with room to run upfield and he took checkdowns that were tighter most of the time instead.
Literally the only open guy on every play. Never throws it to him.
dudeeeeeeeeeeeee seriously it was bugging the shit out of me
i came to the comments to see if anyone else saw A
I love how Drew embraces the bugs of Madden 24 by doing these chaotic challenges. Absolutely HALEarious!
I see what you did there
gotta love the bj hale connection
Also says "EA" in there
We’re in an excellent time of NTE. So much variety and some quality content. Keep it up Drew!
Texas Kyle running into the locker room after that score had me fucking dying 😂😂😂
The “A” route was open damn near every play
Dude hates the dig
@@gecko229I guess he doesn't.. dig that
dude i saw that it annoyed me so bad
Same with the deep route
@@genesblades4827 the deep route is more dangerous
Chaos franchise is such a fun idea, I'm always excited when I see a new upload for this series.
Love the videos man excited for all these different series coming out

Ive never seen someone so unwilling to throw over the middle but force passes into coverage
He plays a bunch of Madden/NCAA Football and he's still awful. I just don't get it. Like, pause at 6:16 and just look. He makes the worst possible read there.
If you came here for e-sports professional madden then you came to the wrong channel.
My boy if you’re here for high football IQ, you’re barking up the WRONG tree 😂

UUUGGGGHHHHHH Drew!!!! You had the win man. Get Texas Kyle out of bounds on the one and burn clock man. Hahah love this channel so much. For Memes!!!!

Never knew one play could be so entertaining
I love this wave of content you’ve been putting out drewski. Seems like you’re really having fun.
Drewsky: let me ruin this whole franchise
Texas Kyle: Not on my watch!
Drewsky: You've underestimated my POWER

The extra point is special teams, not offense
It's still offense, even if it's special teams.@@genzmckenzie9709
The fact that one play works so well shows how broken this game is
In Madden 08 (which I played for over a decade, because it was the last Madden on PC for that long), the combination of a slant from the wideout and a 5-yard out-route from the slot receiver on the same side resulted in a guaranteed pick play where one of the two always (and I mean ALWAYS) wound up completely open, even on All-Madden difficulty. Flanker DRIVE
Also A was open 80% of the time
Hey buddy, great video. Just one concern. Is your A button doing ok? Are you mad at it?
That one guy "This is boring, its the same play every time"
I love this cause every episode feels different and doesn’t become stagnant
the play is called flanker dRive Drew :)
The two flanker receivers run a so called drive concept (a deep dig route and a drag combo) which is generally used to create a high low read on the linebackers inside
Stoked to see my idea of "Hail Marys Only" make it onto the wheel! Fingers crossed it'll appear one of these episodes ;)
You haven't passed it to " A" once. You don't know how many times he's been WIDE open
Welcome to NTE
Chaos Wheel idea: Every drive a random player is out for the drive. Due to randomness like their helmet strap is missing, they're tired, they just don't feel like it or anything goofy like that to add to the chaos
Loved how you just kept challenging yourself even more by not going for your A receiver regardless of how wide open he was
Really enjoying the Madden 24 content!
This series is amazing. All hail the chaos wheel
New idea: Add to the wheel "Play with the controller upside down" and put a camera feed on how you handle it ;)
Drew I love the content but DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR A BUTTON IS?! lol good video tho!
Damn, are you turning into Five Points already? You have my sympathies 0:40
Does Drewski know that the A button is a thing?
I was playing the other day and I was thinking it be cool if madden did a coach calls your plays mode. Where you play whatever play is called the whole game, offense and defense. One of my favorite NTE series
No one else realize that the play he ran the whole episode was Flanker Drive not Flanker Dive that he kept calling it?
Almost losing to a team running 1 play sounds like something Zac Taylor would do.
6:33 "Why does it keep lagging?" Well... it is Madden, so...
I feel like based on the wording, you still shoulda had to run Flanker for extra points as well. Maybe I just wanna see Flanker all the time I love that play
5:08 what’s the name of that song been looking for a yesr
It's like the time John Bois and Kofi made the Lions run the same play for an entire season.
His videos are so funny, but him not hit sticking for easy fumbles is so stressful
Choas wheel idea 💡 your 2 best overalls switch positions for a game
The "Flanker Dive" Drinking Game
The one play was working fantastic albeit man you wished the defense did more.
Still entertaining. Maybe try a chaos play of all run plays, no passing.
Drew you got something against A lol he was open a lot
We love the chaos wheel
Letting them score IS a viable tactic. It has worked many times for me. Just put ‘em in field goal block
Chaos wheel idea: Put your punter in at quarterback for a game
RIP A receiver ☠️
Oh the Steelers playbook epsiode. Cool!
I love this channel
Been playing madden 23 and actually having fun on carrier mode as quarter back. If I can’t find anyone to throw it to I just run it and dive and I barley just make it to the 1st down sometimes it’s so funny
I know im late but shouldnt you pick 1 play for defense as well? Great series btw
I feel like one play should've been only one play, so always go for 2 with that play as well.
Yutos last throw was an absolute cannon
In the bottom ticker: Broncos 28 Dolphins 14 - Madden has officially seceded from reality :)
Recommendation for the wheel kicker as qb
This is how i play madden in the first place
You were not smoking that Joe Burrow…
Next Video Idea: Anytime you get inside the Red Zone, you have to punt the football.
W vid
Your two QB system gave me an idea for the Chaos wheel, might be too hard though:
Only one of your QB's can throw touchdowns, but he may ONLY throw touchdowns.
Should've gone out of bounds with Texas Kyle on that last TD ahha
X is wide open on the left if the time 😅😅 sheeshhh watching you play is like nails on a chalk board sometimes but i love your content but just like in real games im like HES OPEN CMON!! LOL
Bring the dingos back plz. Life isn’t working for me without them
Yo drew do you think you could have the title just be chaos series episode x, then change it after a day to the normal titles, that way we actually don’t know what the wheel spin will be
Post the quarterbacks from the last Visio to the downloadable wrestlers on WWE
X was running wide open this entire game lol
What about can only select punt return on defense and field goal on offense; can audible to any Defensive or offensive play but must use the formations personnel (can't substitute players at different positions. i.e qb at kicker)
I love how A us open everytime and he never throws it
So frustrating to watch lol
It's amazing because he's really just running the Steelers actual offense
The r in drive: oh well fuck me its flanker dive now
A was open most plays. Also, field goals and punts breaks your rule.
that dude with the "A" icon was free for so many plays lmao bro just hated him
Challenge idea: No punting or field goals. You have to go for every 4th down.
Single play means you have to go for two also drew, no field goals
I swear he had A wide open the whole game but chose to throw to b or y instead - it's ok tho I still love your content drewski
One of the wheel options should be to bring one NTE legacy player onto the team.
Flashback to my high school football team's play calling.
Waiting on your ncaa player, those I enjoy better than madden and I know everyone loves you ncaa content
Glad other people noticed that A was open the entire game lol
If I had to do this challenge I would have chosen the Mesh Spot play. That play has won me so many online and franchise matches
It’s gonna be Flanker Dive… the entire way.
But will he notice?
Or will it remain Flanker Dive… the entire way?
You should add "play game with kicker starting as your qb"
next episode could you run through the roster, just showing the player ratings?
Flanker dRive my man, DRIVE.
Wheel idea. Can only runs 6 plays per drive. Rugby league style
The fact that there was no flag for unnecessary roughness at 9:21 is crazy
you should add a challenge where you have to play a game with you kicker a t quarterback
chaos wheel actually makes madden 24 fun which is a miracle
But it's a step in the right direction
Like it has been for 7 years or so
Defo got to try swap offence for defense players and visa versa. Should be able to do it when
Editing players
not me screaming “A” at the screen the whole game
Suggestion-u can’t do field goals for one play only
Everyone talking about him not throwing to A, but what about him calling it Flanker Dive the entire video despite seeing the name of the play 50 times...
I dunno Drew, you kicked a field goal and punted. I'm not sure this was a true 1 play challenge.
I'm disappointed that there wasn't a way to also force the defense to run the Flanker Drive every play.
Chaos Wheel Idea: Best offensive player swaps speed, acceleration, agility, and strength with the worst defensive player
