This part needs to be sewn, or the button placket will appear to float in the air. It's not enough to just sew the neckline and the lower hem of the bodice section. I understand the Japanese terminology, but I'm not sure about the English translation. Thank you for your kind words!

This white strip is just a "PP strap" that is often used for packing work. This is in order not to slide while sewing (sewing gap). When the thickness of the fabric is different, the pressure of the presser foot and the feed dog are not stable. Putting this tape means adding the height, this is very useful. Thank you!!
