thats a clean hit exactly as their taught to tackle lol anyone who says else is just a homer bama fan if they call that a penalty I'd lose my faith in football
The ruling on the field was the player hit him in the chest first. In slow motion he clearly didn't and he hit him with the crown of his helmet.(aka helmet to helmet, aka targeting) Danielson went off about it, being the big drama queen that he is. I don't like the current rules, but under the current rules, not only is that a penalty, but the Ole Miss player should have been ejected from the game.(the main reason I hate the rule). Should have been first and ten Bama, no Ole miss td. That being said, I remember two years ago, a Bama player pulled a face mask and then stripped the Ole Miss return guy and returned the ball for a td. That wasn't called either. They were both bad calls for teams that eventually won the game.Unintentional bad calls are just part of the game and have always been. Each team has sixty minutes to make enough plays to win and overcome bad calls. Ole Miss was able to do it two years ago and Bama was able to do it on Saturday.
There were two penalties on ole miss during that play. Shouldn't have counted. & the ole miss player should've been ejected for hitting Jalen helmet to helmet.
Who is here because this happened in the Super Bowl? lol
Great hit!!

"Jalen Hurts gets TARGETED" should have been called back, and he should have been ejected.
2021
I guess you could say Jalen hurts...
he lead with his helmet, and the hit was helmet to helmet
that wasn't supposed to be a fumble if I watch the whole thing
he got targeted
