Would it be possible to get the measurements from the bottom to the under-arm area and then from the under-arm area to the top? The person I'm making this for has a long torso and the pattern as is making this work up to be a bit too cropped for their liking. I will probably just continue the full double crochet rows and then start decreasing when it would make sense to for their body. Other than the questions, the pattern is great and easy to understand. Thank you!

before you started decreasing what was the measurement in length? My row count didn't match yours. If I eyeball it, it looks like you have atleast 10 inches or 8 inches before you started decreasing? Thank you!
Thanks for sharing. ♥ When I do the decrease rows for the arm shape, I do a few more decrease as my yarn is thinner, in order to reach the length of the decrease for the shape. But then the yarn curves inwards (or outwards) quite a bit like a bowl... :( Any idea how it could be solved? Thanks!

Measure the entire way around your waist, divide by 2 and then chain until you reach that number. E.g. my waist all the way around in 102cm, I divide that by 2 and I get 51cm. So I will chain until the chains are maybe a little more than 51cms.

You listed the gauge as 16dc x 7.5 rows. How does one get a half row for double crochet?
4 inches doesn’t reach 8 rows, just 7.5, if that makes sense.
