Love all of them, but yup some of the vocalist are not being fully utilized. Like kevin, jacob and especially haknyeon, which i loved his deep voice.. I appreciate that sunwoo is a triple threat, rapper, vocalist and dancer but others need to shine too..but overall, excellent comeback coming from thrill ride..
I never would've known Kevin was a main vocalist if I didn't look at their profiles lol I've never seen him showcase his vocals as much as the other main vocalists, though I'm just new to them so I wouldn't know whether he did with their past releases

Haknyeon should have done Hyunjae's "I'm a, I'm a, I'm a Maverick" part. That would've made it more even and Hyunjae would still have lots of lines. I don't understand why Haknyeon never gets substantial lines? He's also a lead dancer but hardly gets any centre time? Supposedly The Boyz's concept is "everyone gets to be the centre" but in every song the centre is Hyunjae or Juyeon. I wish they would actually rotate centres.

Okay here, the three of them Kevin, Haknyeon and Younghoon all of them have injuries kevin last year when rtk finals that's why he doesn't have much line in "checkmate" younghoon still have his injury on his collarbone that started during reveal era and haknyeon have back pains when kingdom final. Maybe that's the reason behind it and i'm not surprised jacob being in a lower one, as an old cobcob i always know that jacob will always got lines in their bside such as in bloom bloom and the only album. Jacob and kevin got the highnote in butterfly. Though i'm shock jacob's got adlibs in thrill ride. hyunjae’s voice fits many concepts so thats why they give him a lot of lines in every comeback, the same thing is for example with loona’s heejin who often tops the line distribution with her versatile voice despite being a lead vocalist

This is a performance kinda song so there is so little room to showcase their vocals. Like Juyeon, even though he is not at the bottom, we gotta admit he doesn't have any real lines. Eric leads the « Back in the game son » & « Don’t be a chaser » parts maybe with Sunwoo Juyeon sings or at least leads all the « I’m a I’m a I’m a maverick » parts in the chorus
I feel like Haknyeon could have gotten the last few lines that hyunjae sang, like the one after Eric’s lines and “I’m a, I’m a maverick” , I just feel like it will suit him. Hopefully for next comeback Hak will get more lines :D
i dont think the "im a im a maverick" part is said by just one person, its sung together just like the whole chorus. You can't exactly make out one voice from those parts, its the same throughout. considering that, Juyeon's part is only the "Maverick" in the beginning and "Drippin 6x" in the middle. Juyeon got the least amount of lines.
kevin's insane vocal was not fully utilized this comeback and that makes me sad. he should have gotten one of the parts in the prechorus that starts with "super villain" bc he could have sang that sooooo well :(((

Dear cre.ker, In future albums please allow the boyz to go into subunit projects and full group projects. We KNOW that this is possible because the boyz has members that know how to produce music or write songs (or even both). Especially the vocalists deserve better. All members deserve a chance to shine. Properly promote the b-side tracks, even if it's just on the channel and not on shows, because not all deobi might check them out unless they did some digging, and these tracks are places where other members shine. Heck, allow our boyz to be featured in properly produced cover videos of their fav songs or choreo routines and upload them to your channel. In other terms, you can learn from your fellow colleagues about how to market and express their creative freedom (*cough cough jyp's stray kids and kq's ateez and their production staffs) because we know for a fact that the boyz do have a lot more freedom as other kpop artists, it's just not put out there. Thanks :)
Why are you including the ones that is sang by all? Juyeon's is inaccurate because his only line that is his alone is the maverick intro and the drippin part, that's it.

Honestly I think alot of juyeons parts in these comebacks have been mixed with other voices.
Our main dancers/visuals need more time up front, and our main vocalists/rappers need more lines.
i dont think the "im a im a maverick" part is said by just one person, its sung together just like the whole chorus. You can't exactly make out one voice from those parts, its the same throughout. considering that, Juyeon's part is only the "Maverick" in the beginning and "Drippin 6x" in the middle. Juyeon got the least amount of lines.

I think its really unfair to everyone in the group how the line and screen time is distributed. Because many of the members are getting so little time like how Haknyeon only has 5.06s of lines. its really unfair to him but also not so great for the ones that gets a lot of lines or screen time since many then start to hate on them since they get so much and others don't get almost any at all. In future albums please allow the boyz to go into subunit projects and full group projects. We KNOW that this is possible because the boyz has members that know how to produce music or write songs (or even both). Especially the vocalists deserve better. All members deserve a chance to shine. Properly promote the b-side tracks, even if it's just on the channel and not on shows, because not all deobi might check them out unless they did some digging, and these tracks are places where other members shine. Heck, allow our boyz to be featured in properly produced cover videos of their fav songs or choreo routines and upload them to your channel. In other terms, you can learn from your fellow colleagues about how to market and express their creative freedom (*cough cough jyp's stray kids and kq's ateez and their production staffs) because we know for a fact that the boyz do have a lot more freedom as other kpop artists, it's just not put out there.
