  • I don't know, Knife painting Saturday, line and wash today; I hope you are ok with me trying to stay interested. I spent the first part of today hanging pictures for The Artists Co-operative at Denbies, Dorking, a lovely wine growing area in Surrey with a superb gallery for hanging paintings. We are there for two weeks till April 13th. It would would be good to sell some work to help pay towards the usual bills!

This is my new favorite!! A beautiful painting of an active boat yard! Terrific job. I bought my first watercolor block today that I may try this on tonight. And, I have a new box of long matches.

That’s a super nice composition you came up with. I hope you do that one again sometime using a palette knife or some other experiment. Thanks for showing the different inks you experiment with.

Interesting one Dave. I am tempted to have a go at line and wash although it's not something I've tried. Your picture has a lovely effect of light on the river.

Thank you for your videos - they are most helpful! Can you tell me, please, what size and brand of hake you use? What is the best size for someone new to the brush? Thanks again!
