Congratulations! The reconstruction is magnificent! I'm a professor in a graduation course for history teachers in Brazil, and I'll use your video in my classes.
This is beautiful! I actually got a little emotional watching this and thinking of all their lives and creative work. I'm using this video to help teach a Bible study going through Paul's letters to the churches in Corinth. So helpful!
Just found your site tonight. Absolutely mesmerizing! The closest to a time machine anyone could hope for at this point. Man how I wish this was something I could experience in VR.
Amazing job, Danik. I am realy impressed. The recreation is quite espectacular, with all the pieces (sky, fog, vegetation, buildings, people, etc.) perfectly nailed. I feel like in a Hollywood super-production. Well done!!
Beautiful!!Breathtaking!!!! Makes me feel so proud of my hometown. So true representation, according to Historical evidence, of the way Corinth used to be!!!
From viewing this I am getting the impression that this is the rebuilt city of Corinth after its destruction by the Romans in 146 BC. The presence of a Roman-type triumphal arch and what looks like a mini-coliseum suggests heavy Roman influence as these structures weren't usually in original Greek cities
Very nice, but I saw one inaccuracy right away: ancient cities did not have a lot of free-standing buildings or large open spaces like in this vid. Only the large public buildings--theaters, markets, temples, etc. were free standing. To conserve space, domestic buildings all shared walls and even roofs so that, from the air, a city block would look like one large, continuous building or complex, with only the interior courtyards and rooflines to distinguish between individual dwellings. I noticed in this vid that all the buildings had separation as if it were a modern city. Just not the case in the past.
excellent point sebastien, you are correct sir. and i wish these simulations, as beautiful as they are, would show the bad stuff too, like garbage, dirt, etc to make it more realistic looking.
@@casimiriii5941 Fires were a big problem. But the ancients were more concerned with living behind defensive walls and having everything within short walking distance.
A monumental and beautiful work! Even taking into account historical objections about roofs and walls, mentioned below, the video is very well done and enjoyable. Have you any information about the composer, performers , and title of music?
Great thanks for the illustration. We imagine much better how it was like. Ministry of culture should promote to all tourist your work it gives great value to site seeing
Fantastic! Really helpful, and the best one I've found. Does anyone know at what point in the city walls the road began which led to Cenchrea , please? I can't find that information anywhere. Thank you.
So wonderful animation! Would you please add English or chinese description in the movie that will be better for understanding ! Thank you and God bless you.
Really entertaining, but not sure i got the amphitheater gladiator thing, was it a depiction of corinth in the roman eta? Where the streets really so wide?
This is a magnificent presentation, but I am wondering about the "white marble" aspect of everything. Wouldn't in fact most of the buildings and even the statures be painted in very bright colors?
Would you allow portions of this to be used in an independent film for a high school drama department? This is a fantastic rendering and because of COVID, we are having to film a production of Euripides’ Madea instead of performing it on stage. What would you require to allow this?
Awesome Video. I am getting ready to do an in depth study of Corinthians with my Church. Can I have permission to use this video both in service and our livestream? Attribution is a given of course.
Love your work. I bet it takes thousands of hourse to create such a city. I have some suggestions. Cologne and Trier and its archticetial Peaks. I guess, London and Bath looked similar during the architectual peaks. And a much smaler, therefore not as much time spending project, but would be aswome aswell: The roman saalburg fortres in germany with the correct pinnacles With the surounding villages and some Limes with some Limes watch towers. There is a virtuall video of the Saalburg frotres, but i am sure you with your team can do it much better! The city of Antiocchia am Orontes had street lights. Oh and i am sure you have think of making a video of Bayblon with the pretty Ishta Gate!!!
Amazing! This is the real original Doric Corinth, not the Roman Corinth. Following the destruction of Corinth in 146 BC, which was carried out by consul Lucius Mummius Achaicus, Corinth was completely rebuilt in 44 BC by Julius Caesar, when it became the capital of the Roman province of Achaea.
Wonderful video. Nevertheless, these reconstructions don't revel the massive labor of craftspeople, freed laborers, and slaves in the ongoing requirements to design, maintain, and construct these magnificent but labor intensive facilities. The human cost of health, injury, and fatality must have been phenomenal.
ahahaha! :) And now the quote from the video description above: "Reconstruction of ancient Corinth city as it was in II century AD, in Roman Empire ages."

Amazing job, Danik. I am realy impressed. The recreation is quite espectacular, with all the pieces (sky, fog, vegetation, buildings, people, etc.) perfectly nailed. I feel like in a Hollywood super-production. Well done!!
Amazing! please do one of Ancient Ephesus.

Your videos of reenacted Roman cities enthrall viewers with its true configuration of that time.
Your a true time traveler , thankyou so much for showing us what Hollywood never has 🤗
What a wonderful reconstruction. Well done👍👍👍
Breathtaking, very exiting to see ancient Corinth
Great reconstruction! Very different to see it in real life (and the Acrocorinth). These cities were so much larger than the modern day remains show.
Is this real
A Wonderful Trip into the Past...Ευχαριστουμε!
From 04:25 and afterwards what is the music that we listen to? It is really glorious!
Strength and Honor from the Gladiator OST.

Wow! Incredible. Thank you for your work.
Magnificient video sir i thank you for this time travel
Outstanding job, as usual ...
Esther Mostafa sorry don't know German language quite well yet, hope it is a good feedback for our work ;)
+Danila Loginov It is very positive.
Thank you all for showing the ancient Corinth visual.

The description of the video says 2nd century A.D. It was definitely the Roman version of Corinth.
Holaaaa!!! Me encanto, hermosa ciudad
The Music is superb. Where can I download this music on RUclips?
Excellent work. Weldone
Que lindo
que hermoso me gusto el video
Fantastic! Great work, loved it. I think the people of Ancient Corinth would be happy that their glorious city is being recalled once more
it would be nice if they made another video showing Corinth before the Roman occupation.

Sebastien Sade seems like a horrible idea when you consider fires. Not one house will burn but an entire cityblock.
It was s moment when I thought it looks a lot like a modern city 😊

Awesome job! Keep it up! I feel like I'm almost there.
Privet!!
The presentation is simply amazing!
At last someone can see the glory and beauty of this legendary city!

Excellent!

Thanks so much for this, it's an excellent visual. I am going to Corinth tomorrow it is helpful to get an idea of what it would have looked like
I'd love it if you could label in the presentation what the different buildings are that we are seeing.
Thank you!!! Very well done!!!
What a beautiful city Corinth was. Would have loved to see Aphrodite's temple at the top of the Acrocorinth. Subscribed.
Wow really nice!
Amazing.
So wonderful animation! Would you please add English or chinese description in the movie that will be better for understanding ! Thank you and God bless you.
I would like to use your video of Corinth once in a Sunday school class, but can't download it
Wonderful!
superb :-) bravo :-)
How did you make the buildings?
Parece a cidade que eu nasci, Pontes e Lacerda -MT
Really entertaining, but not sure i got the amphitheater gladiator thing, was it a depiction of corinth in the roman eta? Where the streets really so wide?
So the road that goes through the isthmus is no longer present during Roman times?
This is a magnificent presentation, but I am wondering about the "white marble" aspect of everything. Wouldn't in fact most of the buildings and even the statures be painted in very bright colors?
I've made it 5 years ago, now I would do it in another way. I hope I will release a new edition for Corinth in the future.
Spectacular! Now, please take us to the top of Acrocorinth, and across the narrow part of the peninsula.
Bravo!!!
beautifull!

Brilliant work, please add missing aqueducts that supplied that huge water demand.

have you ever thought about doing one on ancient buildings in America?

My city, actually now is a village..
nice reconstruction but amphitheater at 4:05 was invented by romans
ahaha! :)
Don't laugh, Danila. The first amphitheater was the Capua amphitheater built in 70 BC. Greecs had theaters not amphitheater like the one at 4:05
ahahaha! :) And now the quote from the video description above: "Reconstruction of ancient Corinth city as it was in II century AD, in Roman Empire ages."
