Considering my local dealership forgot to put half the hardware on the lip of my GT350 there’s no way in hell I am letting them build me an RTR.
Yeah, coming from a background at a dealership in the 90s, I would agree.
A GM technician that was sent to our dealership, from the factory, to train us on the brand new onstar systems installation told us
“The best and fastest way the GM recommends, is to strip Back the large pink wire under the dashboard stick your probe light through it, and wrap the onstar power wire into it and wrap it with electrical tape”.
I was not impressed.
I then thought to myself
These customers think that they are getting top notch service at a factory dealership.
They may be a home mechanic that’s talented and had them install it so it’s top notch.😞😩

Apparently, you missed what he said, currently, the dealers are building the RTR's. Now the Mustangs will be sent to FOX, from the Ford manufacturing plant, to get built into RTR's

There is a guy who K swapped an Mustang and took it to a Mustang specific car show.
Every old timer hated it, so I totally get your frustrations with Mustang owners.
The more RTR you make, the research investment will spread thin on each car, it will make RTR more affordable and let more people enjoy the fun that you and RTR want to bring to people. That's a great move, even I cannot afford one at the moment, but I'm so appreciate of the chance you have given us.

As a Chevrolet man an rtr would be the only ford id ever buy. Vaughn is an awesome man and down to earth as you could be.

We lost our oldest brother to suicide a year and a half ago. He was a huge mustang guy and owner. Loved Vaughn and RTR. I wish he was here to see this huge move! We will be looking forward to getting an RTR mustang! Thank you Vaughn!

I also feel that growing up with the Mustang scene in not having that vibe that I would want as my own. RTR for sure has brought a nice return for the love of Mustangs that I had for my Dad's generation of models.

Thats cool ive never seen a RTR Vehicle around my town. But many people get the parts for there Trucks and Stangs. Really cool to see this option here up and hopefully making the actual complete vehicle builds so much more available

RTR is how I got into liking Ford Mustang and the Ford F-150

I think it's a great idea. I don't think it's wise to let dealerships build RTR vehicles because most buyers of the brand like me would like to order them with bespoke options. I completely agree with as a newcomer to the Ford brand. The first Ford product I ever bought was an RTR Mustang and knew nothing about the platform. Now I'm hooked on all things Ford! Now when can I order the Tactical suspension with Fox remote resovoiurs?

Is there a possibility in the future for donor Mustangs being similar to a COPO Camaro? When building a Mustang how we like, there are so many factory components to rip out. It would be great to save money buying a donor shell and redirect that money towards higher tier RTR packages.

I love everything you do with rtr and I think you made the right decision with the company I would hate to see you sell it being able to say I have a self built spec 2 rtr means a lot to me knowing I’m doing the same thing you would of been doing when building rtr as company seeing a vision and following through with it

Many ford Dealers do this with the Black Widow trucks. SCA Performance who builds the Black Widow trucks is owned by Fox. Does this mean SCA could be building RTRs?

Our drift cars will still be running BCs! This partnership is only in regards to our production vehicles.
Was kinda hoping RTR would go short course racing with Ford but it is interesting that a short course adjacent company is teaming up with RTR.
