Hey bro I gotten a rear top rack for my fxs but I was wondering and I been doing some search but did you end having to buy separate rear plastic for your fxs cus it seems they don't have that notch or the whole where that bars of the rack come out not sure if that makes sense??
hi first i would like to say nice setup . i have noticed the elcon charger has a green control wire on the Anderson connector side how is this wired into the battery charge port. as well does this green wire need to be used in order for the charger to work. thank you
is your charger input volts 110v or 220v . as well can you guide me to were you got the j-1772 plug and the adapter for the end . currently i am shopping for a ELCON charger and want to do a similar setup
If im looking to just get the 110 adapter were would i find that? i already have a fast charger but i would like to use the EV chargers at work so i thought i would just need an adapter from my bike to the ev charger
MOTOMARK I see okay I’ll prob need a step up transformer tho since my bike only takes regular 110v and I don’t wanna burn or mess up the battery. Sucks these stations don’t have regular 120v outlets anymore
Hi, wanted to know, is the Zero pulling 120 V or less from the j - 1772 plug, and the charger is also simultaneously pulling 240 V from the j - 1772 plug? Thanks
It pulls the 240. But I don't think it uses it to it's full potential. The charges itself charges up to 2500 watts and the onboard pulls up to 600 watts. Combined depend the charger your charging at a little over 3 kw and hour.
MOTOMARK Thanks for getting back to me. I did the math, in your previous video you needed 63% to full, and it said 1 hour and 20 minutes to full charge. So, 63% is about 4.5 kWh, at 3000 watts charging that would be 1 and a 1/2 hours. You have combined 3100 watt charging capability which came in at 1 hour and 20 minutes, seems accurate, especially when you take into account that the last 20% of those batteries charge slower, so I think it is probably working really well.
@@ivanmundy7174 yes so the battery starts off charging slow if it's super low in the middle somewhere it charges faster and in the end it slows down again. Best to keep the battery in the middle I useally charge when I get to 30% just so I don't have to take much time to charge and mostly charge up to 80%. I think between that time you see the battery charge up fastest. And also is saves the battery more. Because you won't go through a charge cycle that way
I know this vid is pretty old but I searched up the battery and there are a bunch of things to fill when buying. www.electricmotorsport.com/tsm2500-charger-2-5kw-24-180vdc.html What did you put in these boxes? Does it matter which battery I pick, model, cells, etc?
