This mod changes all Call of Duty 2 weapons on Singleplayer Campaign to their higher quality counterparts from World At War.
Not all weapons are from World At War since it doesn't have all COD2 weapons and not all World At War weapons are of high quality.
It only changes the models, textures and animations of the weapons.
The majority of the weapon stats remain the same with very few exceptions,
like reload timing to fit the new animations, and a few weapon movement values.
The mod brings the following changes in detail:
1) Weapons:
-M1 Garand from World At War
-M1A1 Carbine from World At War
-Improved COD2 Thompson Model with World At War animations. Credits to Back2Fronts mod.
-BAR from World At War.
-Springfield Scoped from World At War.
-Colt from World At War.
-Kar98K from World At War.
-Kar98K Scoped from World At War.
-MP40 from World At War and Black Ops 1. (Normal and Winter Version)
-G43 from World At War.
-G43 Scoped. Model from World At War, scope from COD2, scope texture from Back2Fronts.
-MP44 from COD4.
-Walther P38 from World At War. (Replacement for Luger)
-Bren from COD2 with World At War animations, and Back2Fronts texture.
-Sten from Black Ops 1 with World At War animations.
-Lee-Enfield from COD2 using the fixed unused World At War lee-enfield animations.
-Lee-Enfield Scoped from COD2 using the fixed unused World At War lee-enfield animations.
-Webley (Replaced with colt45 due to lack of access to its cod2 animations)
-Mosin Nagant from World At War.
-Mosin Nagant Scoped from Black Ops 1. (Winter Version)
-PPSH from Black Ops 1. (Winter Skin)
-PPS42 is replaced with the banana clip version of World At War's PPSH.
-SVT40 from World At War.
-Tokarev TT30 from World At War.
-Panzerschreck from World At War.
2) Turrets:
-MG42 turret models from World At War.
-30cal turret models from World At War.
3) Grenades:
-All grenade animations are updated to fit the new hand models.
-They are using the original COD2 models with animations mainly from World At War.
-Potato animations are using an edited version of the smoke marker animations from MW2.
4) Hands:
-USA hands are using a modified COD2 USA hands model that works with World At War weapon animations. Credits for the edit: MCh2207Cz.
-Soviet hands are from Black Ops 1 Project Nova level.
-British woodland hands are an edited version of World At War's Soviet hands.
-British desert bare hands are from World At War.
Keep in mind that the mod isn't perfect.
There may be many minor animation bugs and glitches if you look closely.
The gun ports couldn't be perfect because:
1) I am not an animator. All I do is mess with keyframes and bone rotations to fix obvious animation problems.
2) All of WAW weapon animations are designed for 65 FOV and anything above that may and will look off in most cases.
I tried my best to minimize these bugs but if one looks closely, they may still be present.
That is mainly because World At War animations are made the way they were made.
So please show some understanding if you find any odd looking things on the weapons. - Игры

Looks like I will replay the game just for this mod!
BTW can you also add the weapon sounds from CoD WaW to the game, it would make the game feel like a totally new experience

kind of a bummer that the pps42 looks just like ppsh with box mag in WAW.

in WAW there is no pps42, its just ppsh with drum or bandanna mag.

@@Hamentsios10 the bolt while cycling is not going fully to the back when releasing the casing during the animation, is not your fault, is treyarch fault. Guns sin reviews made me notice that mundane thing.

@@uldisbergvalds1the reason it's not there is because I can't use cod2 guns with later cod game guns. The animation skeletons are different. I can only use animation that are from cod4 and later. There is no pps42 animation tha work

Thanks! And no I chose not to change the sounds. COD2 fire sounds were alright except the M1Garand which I changed.

This is not a good mod i would not recommanded
What makes it bad?
It's not pleasant for me because the animations and some textures are a bit thin. For example the mp40 has a bad mechanism and the ppsh 41 has a bad texture that's why. Have a good evening good night. ^^
@@Helikopter762I understand. Its important to note that almost all weapon models and animations are from World At War. Any problems they have, will be carried over to the mod. I tried to fix most of them but im not really an animator, 3D model designer nor a texture editor. I did as many edits as I could to my power to make them look OK for cod2 standards. And COD2 weapon textures look much worse due to pixelated textures. World At War look blurry because they use a detail texture technology that didn't exist back in COD2 so there wasn't much I could do. Also the video itself isn't the best way to see all that the mod has to offer. Playing it or watching my streams of it, is a much better perspective.

ive noticed while playing that the bren is still using the cod 2 animations even in v1.1
All changes in the guns are mentioned in detail in the download page and probably in the description.
