You're fine, Marc.
Tulireki is rattly as hell. Salama is decent, and Taiga is probably the best ride I have ridden in my life. I wish Vonkaputous would have been preserved even though you got completely soaked if you were unlucky, but Taiga in that same space is absolutely an upgrade. However, Vuoristorata is a classic and I intend to ride it every year.
damn I had no idea Vonkaputous was even removed
@@kiiturii It closed after the 2017 season
I know that it's called Vuoristorata, but I've always been used to calling it Puu Vuoristorata. (Btw great video🇫🇮)
Same but i call it “Vanha vuoristorata”
What a great list to close out a super memorable international trip from last year! Love the premise of this park and how it supports a good cause. The concept of Vuoristorata is super interesting to me with the brake control and the ride looks really fun! That’s funny you mentioned Rutschebanen at Bakken because seeing that layout and model design totally reminded of it. I’m sure this year’s international trip will be amazing as well😊 頑張ってor 화이팅! in Korean
Thanks Morgan!
Yeah to me that coaster at this park and Rushebanen or however it's spelled at Baken ( means roller coaster ) are similar.
powerpark has some quality coasters too
It certainly does, I just wish they spent the money they used on Pitt's Special on something else. When I went, we did Pitt's once and thought it was alright but never went back to it, unlike Junker and Thunderbird which we revisited plenty of times.
In salama. If you balance it right, you can make it spin the hole trip really fast😂me and my friends were able to do it and it was best thing ever (we did it 5 times more in that day) the operator was laughing because he thought it looked super fun
How do you balance it right?
@@Tosted_Cheeseit’s been 2 years but if I remember correctly. We had two guys sitting right side (both on the boarding side) and I was sitting left side and front way.
Our mass was perfect to it.
@@kostonenkeli1999 Next time ill go ill definetly try it
@@Tosted_Cheese I hope you can make it work. It’s so fun
I'm going to Linnanmäki on Saturday this week with my friend and my family
This park opened in 1950? Fun fact: Sibelius died in 1957. Born in 1865 he was the last Romantic composer to die, 7 years after this park opened. BTW he was also Finnish. But I digress: Taiga looks incredible. Thanks for posting!
Great video! Very nice conclusion to the series! I enjoyed watching! Looking forward to this summers Vlogs! I'd love to see you go to those other 2 main Finland parks someday btw Powerpark/ Powerland and Sarkainaimi or however it's spelled. I'd love to see you go to Japan and South Korea someday as well and I don't know really any enthusiast Vlogs that have been to South Korea. Turkey this year would be great as well for that same reason.
Thanks Michael! All great suggestions. Stay tuned, I doubt you’ll be disappointed 👀
@CoasterDash Thanks! I'm definitely looking forward to the summer Vlogs this year!
@@CoasterDash I was going to say July-September? That’s very sus👀 We’re not ready!😂😂
Im going there in 2 weeks, this video was great!
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching 😁
Tulireki and Salama feel like the family coaster equivalent of Skyrush and Candymonium where one didn't work out so they got a similar ride to make up for it (although they did swap Skyrush's trains and gave it more of a theme so its a bit more accessible). The park doesn't have an inverted coaster, so maybe they could get Vekoma or Intamin to do a custom family invert (I imagined it starting out a bit like how the former Hercules did at Dorney Park-but that would require leaving the current park boundary and taking advantage of the hillside, which I'm not sure they are allowed to do.
That’s an interesting way to think about those two rides! I agree, an inverted coaster would be a great fit for this park.
We know with Taiga that they can get creative with space, so I could see in the farther future a family suspended coaster replacing Tulireki and threading between Taiga and Pikajuna. And indeed, the park is bordered by either the train tracks, buildings or popular green parks so expansion isn't gonna happen but as they just managed to squeeze a giant intamin Gyro Swing into the Top Spin's place (an amazing addition) I don't have worries about space.
i love the puu vuoristorata and sitting on the front row is fun because one of the bumps jumps you up :D
also the new taiga is super fun, its the most rollercoaster rollercoaster that linnanmäki has
I love how he says Linnanmäki! He says Linenmaki😂
Finally
Real
I live across the street from this now (didn't move explicitly for Linnanmäki but it was a bonus) so needless to say I got the season pass and I go on Taiga at least a couple times a week. Don't regret that purchase!
How much does a season pass cost?
@@miix2634 It's 299€ which is of course a lot of money, but it's less than the price of six wristbands for the park so you get back the value really quickly. For 80€ on top you can get daily fastpasses for Taiga and Swingi but I don't think that's worth it personally when you can just go at less busy times of day whenever you want with the normal season pass.
Why didn’t you go to Särkänniemi???
My family has a tradition to go there every August if possible. Been there like 8 times by now
I live in Helsinki and in my opinnion salama is best then comes the wooden rollercoaster and then taiga
Im taking my first trip to Cedar Point at the end of August this year! We're staying at the point for 2 days, on a thursday and friday, (10am-8pm and 10am-10pm) and then we're hitting KI on saturday, (10am-10pm). Sunday we're doing Holiday World 10am-6pm. My question is should I invest in Fast Lane passes for KI and CP, I usually don't like to spend that extra money but should I consider it since I have so little time?
Personally, I would, but it depends on how the weather is. If it's rainy or windy, don't most coasters might be down. But normally, yes, invest if you have limited time.
Yes, especially if you want to ride the big rides.
Are you going to ever try to ride the redesigned Top Thrill 2 at Cedar Point?
Very soon!
Btw vuoristorata literally just means roller coaster.
Technically vuoristorata literally means "mountain range railroad/track" but it is the Finnish word for a roller coaster, yes. 😜
Linnanmäki I have de tere
My favorait is salama
Fun fact: Finland is dubbed the happiest country on Earth by the majority of citizens. What do you think about that? If you've been to Finland, do you agree or disagree? How happy did you feel while in Finland?
It must be because of the roller coasters! In all seriousness, I feel that I don’t have an accurate idea as to whether or not I believe this, because I never left the capital, Helsinki, and only interacted with a handful of people.
It’s not just dubbed that by the citizens. It is the happiest. When I went there I actually really felt this, and was really happy compared to normal.
