Looking seriously at the IQ15B to go with a pair of Yamaha DSR12 tops, or QSC10's. Thanks for doing a demo , there's very little on the web per user reviews. The specs and price both seem almost too good to be true. Wanted the JBLPRX15 but the IQ15s are $450 less with more features - lots more and twice the power. Despite a poor mic on the video camera it sounded like the subs did fine, lots of articulate bass, not just boom and HMMMMM.Going to order one , if I like it enough I'll get a pair. If not then send it back and spring for the RCF 700. Cheers.
Always run your sub amp at maximum volume. You can determine how much level goes thru it (the volume) with the input signal from the mixer. Try some Boz Scaggs or Steely Dan or some Dumstaphunk for soundcheck, not tribal hip hop.
Actually Boz and most Old School Tracks don't have enough sub bass for a proper check. When someone buys a sub like this it's usually because they want to play Hip Hop or EDM.
Wow that single k12 is playing well, if it is the only one not sure if there is a second speaker off screen. and sub is not bad its difficult to gauge the quality but thanks for posting..
Have you compared this sub to others? How does it compare? I don't like the look of the specs. For a 3000w peak sub it doesn't seem to go very low (50Hz -10db/36Hz -3db) and the 132db peak. I'm just hoping Turbosound(Behringer) have rated it very conservatively...
The iq18B has more neutral sound. It sounds the same all the way to the limiter kicks in. The 8003 is getting "boomy" when you push it. I've been using my two IQ's for some weeks now together with Rcf 710A mkII and a Dbx driverack Pa+ Just love 'em ;-)
Mobile Disco Wirral Probably not with 1 sub if U got good top cabs. My prio is good sound so I always use a sub under each top. If you use only one sub the sound will change as you move around in the room. I rather use two 15" subs instead of one 18".
Okay not the best vid, but what do you think of the Turbosound IQ18b ..? Does all that "DSP magic" really work.. Or is it still better to buy a "dummy sub" without all the magic..?
i know right, everyone saying nice vid, but no where in the vid do i hear him say what he thinks of the sound or just an even accurate description of the sub, and he says in the vid no one really reviewing this sub, he does a review but doesn't say anything but music playing which we all know you cant go by that because the mic doesn't do it any justice , c'mon people! smh.....
I own an 18b and two iq 15 tops. My thoughts, the speakers are cleaaaan as fuck. comparable to qsc kw series. My only problem is that my single 18b doesnt deliver as much oomph as I want it to, I will eventually be adding a second.
Your neighbors must love you. Pretty solid demo of the sub, tho. Thanks!

Thank you for posting a demo. I am so excited to get some.
+PowerBliss Publishing Did you get one am tempted
Love the test man. Nice camera too bro.
Thanks for the video. Might go with the k12 for now. I feel like clubbing and getting bottle service.

suggest Marla Glen - The cost of freedom for a sound check

I do the same 👌🏾sub out on the mixer
@@djTorchLivelate night tip by 3 6 mafia is the industry standard😂
Hows it been since since April? Has it got good bass response for 18" do you turn it up with large knob or small one
Does it have hard hitting base?
Off topic question, how does the K12 compare to a iQ12 in a side by side shootout contest?
Your neighbors must hate you.
It's daytime at least
How's the sound quality of the IQ18B sub? I don't get a true feel from the video. Have you had any issues since this demo?
Do the casters rattle? They should have made them where they slide on and off.
synapticflow mine do not rattle that I have noticed I just picked up 2 to go with my Mackie srm 650's and it sounds great

It's 50Hz -3db/36Hz -10db) 750w/rms and they sound better than my RCF 8003 but not as loud........
+Mikael Helje does really have some headroom left -3 can you use one with 2 12" tops
+Mikael Helje so it sound better than the 8003

Посоветуйте стоит ли покупать или уже есть получше ?

Thanks... For sharing your thoughts... simplified sound
thank you , do you think one equals to 1 kw181? or at very least close?
Qsc kw181 is a bit higher end but they both have good sound and qsc is a bit more popular for Dj users
Noob question, how do you set these up to use In home studio?
nice
plzzzz tell me this has a high pass filter if not imaa flip some shit.....
The Qsc k12 is way overpowering the sub
More like the other way around if you crank it. The QSC will NEVER hit the 1000W that they advertise
hello,i want to know rms power of this SUB IQ 18B and the realy spl?
thanks
1500 rms
What is the music please ? Artist track
sound track please
how do you run to a laptop?
with cables!
That k12 needs and ls801
Wtf with that noise coming out of those speakers.....you couldn’t find any music to play
My God! that music sucks!!!! why not test it with some quality sound FFS
Have to agree with you on this one...
Word. Slap on some Dre 2001 or something that slaps.
