2013 Honda CRV TSB4 Cam Sprocket/VTC Actuator Replacement

Nick at Lee Myles Auto Care & Transmissions in Southeast PA goes over this 2013 Honda CR-V with us.
Our customer brought us their Honda with an engine noise concern. They were experiencing a rattling noise for a few seconds after initially starting their engine. Thankfully, our customer brought their vehicle in before this turned into a costly repair!
While doing our diagnostics we also found that this particular vehicle actually had a bulletin for one of the cam sprockets (TSB4 Cam Sprocket/VTC Actuator). This bulletin replaces the old one with a newer style that has more oil passages, since the tensioners on these motors are oil driven.
After we got all of the new parts required for this repair, we got our customer back on the road with no more rattling coming from their engine!
