This was the first King Kong film I watched. Back in ‘86 I was a kid and saw a trailer during an Alf commercial break. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I couldn’t wait to watch the movie. Little did I know King Kong was a very old character. After watching this numerous times my mom took me to a video rental store and got me the 1976 film claiming it was better. I agreed upon watching it. Then she told me there was an original film that was even better. Unfortunately it was only available on VHS format, we only had a Betamax at the time. A few months went by and eventually I saw a clip on TNT with the T. rex scene. I just couldn’t wait. Eventually got a bootleg copy recorded from VHS to Betamax and was able to watch it. The original became my second favorite movie after Jaws. Eventually my mom told me about Godzilla so I picked up Godzilla 1985 and became a Godzilla fan as well.
Now look Director John Guillermin should sold his movie script to the Japanese movie studio like Toho Movie Studio where they can add King Kong in the Godzilla Movie called Godzilla Vs Spacegodzilla (1994) so that way the Japanese Filmmakers Will hired Peter Elliott as Kong the eight wonder of the world in the Heisei Godzilla Movie Series In Godzilla Vs Spacegodzilla (1994) so that way they can save the King Kong Lives movie script for there Future Japanese Films like A Heisei Godzilla Movie Series!
@blackwolf249 Of course but Dino De Laurentiis should make some outer Sequels like The Goonies 2 which is a sequel to the best Movie 🎥 of all time called The Goonies (1985)
Hey Alex have you hear of Queen Kong (1976) or Mighty Peking Man (1977) or A*P*E (1976) to cash in on King Kong (1976). If you have or haven’t hear of them do you to review them sometime
I don't like your attitude on Kong 76 or Kong lives both of these movies were great my family loved them..I do admit they should of let Kong lived..it sounds like you put everything down...Jessica Lange was great in King Kong...everybody puts this movie down I didn't see nothing wrong with it..but I figured like the 76 version better...I think they should pick up.the next Kong movie with his son from King Kong lives.. they Jeff bridges couldn't get a job after Kong ..I don't know why I thought it was great....thanks for your time and stop putting Kong down California boy
