I have been mastering this for all of ten minutes and I have a tip (but correct me if I am wrong). I think if it feels like you are doing it right but it doesn't look very pronounced you should try moving the pen closer to the tip of your fingers for the animation.
I've watched a bunch of tutorials on how to do different spins and tricks with pens/drumsticks and the fact that it looks so simple yet I can't do it makes me rage! It's so irritating. I try to hold the pen the same way but somehow my hand ends up in a very different angle and my fingers always get in the way and feel dense and don't work like they're used to. My fingers are so short aswell. I don't know man, I'm just sitting here throwing around every swear word I know and crying tears of angriness yet I can't stop, I just want to be able to do this fucking shit.
Kasari - Started practicing it for about a week or so, kinda got the hang of it but not really. Didn't come back to it for like a month but when I tried it again all of a sudden I was a pro. Not saying it takes a month, but practice, break, and come back later.
Started on this tutorial and now i can do the first trick, thumb around, reverse thumb around, thumb around harmonica, the infinity, and am learning the sonic and charge😊
