Well the only relevant team in MPL ID before PH imports penetrated them are Onic, RRQ and Evos. While in PH, teams that won major international tournaments (Mseries, MSC, SEA) are BLCK, BREN, EXE, RSG PH, ECHO and even ONIC PH managed to reach runner up spot at M3.
There are only two teams left in the Philippines who didn't even go to international stage, Minana x evos and TNC. ApBren 2x world champions M2 & M5

Now that you think about it. Onic is the only team outside PH who can go toe to toe with team PH. They almost beat AP Bren. From the start i think they were already checked mate by ducky. Yeb was outdrafted by Ducky in Game 7. That double mage was doomed from the start.
Moontoon would never allow 4-1. I think ap bren let them win cause how the fact can you bounce back against the systematic apbren who's early game and lategame is beyond description. Apbren during the upper bracket against onic was more calm and carefree unlike yesterday so for sure that was a fluke. Each and every playoff team of MPL PH is a contender for the crown. Meaning, all of them are worth it. Especially the top 4 teams now, AP Bren, BL, ECHO, and RSG PH.
Kung 4 slots lang ang meron sa M5 for PH, baka semis palang puro PH teams na. Unless magharap at magkalaglagan sa bracketing agad agad.
Indonesian mlbb era didn't even exist. It's just Onic ID era in their region. That's why what wolf said can't be debunk because by means of being a “competitive” region, the teams' strength is very balance- can go toe to toe against each other.
I hope moonton would create another A or B -tier tournament where those who didn't qualified for the mpl playoffs would face each other.

The difference between msc and m series ..is there is no lower bracket in recent MSC and ph teams is known for adjusting strat, banning and meta quickly..
notice how onic id is the only mpl id champion in mpl id since s8 /s9 up until now. but, while in mpl ph they are having a different team winning each year because the competetiveness in mpl ph is harder than id. this alone should be enough to prove that mpl ph is really on a different level compared to mpl id.
