The growth of my saltwater aquarium is getting out of control. All corals are competing for light and space.
But at the same time, how beautiful this is. A beautiful problem to have :)

I meant to ask in the last episode, but I was so happy to see them in this one. I see your sun coral large is thriving. Very happy about this.
Great video once again, loved seeing the coral reproduction in your tank. Good job! ✌️
Thank you!
It's fun, and it's too much ;) I might have to do something!
Amazing quality of the video ! So clean. Brilliant !
Thank you!
Love it. sometimes i spends 3o mins looking at the refug, those weird micro critters.
Oh, that's a great point! Refugium is often filled with life, especially when you don't touch it for long, it's super interesting to see close up :)
Absolutely beautiful video and content. Thank you for creating a masterpiece.
Thank you!
Brilliant photography!
Gorgeous video. The music selection is more than perfect. You are inspiring. Congratulations and thank you.
Thank you!
Yes, I make some effort in the music section :) Always great to see others noticing it.
love the video man. great work :) keep it up! beautiful tank too!
Stunning I could watch this for hours.
If only it takes few minutes to make ;). Thank you!
Great vid
Thank you!
Beautiful!!!
Thank you!
This is the most beautiful small reef aquarium i have ever seen on YT 😍
Congratulations!
Thank you! Don't miss the next episode, special one!
Thank you for the beautiful masterpieces
Solid video man! My GSP is also taking over my other corals. Damn, they grow fast.
Yes, there's a reason you don't see GSP in that tank :P
Beautiful video. Says a lot about "less is more"! Perspective is subjective to the minds eye in this fast paced world we live in. If we could all just slow down and enjoy the little things around us, in front of us!
Keep up your content! Bravo!
Thank you :)
I love your videos. captivating! You do an amazing job with your content
Thank you very much Marc!
A beautiful video, your style is altra awesome!
Thank you :)
Lovely film, the proliferation of life when given the opportunity never ceases to amaze me.
Right? the only thing is... now they start to compete hard to space ;)
Brilliant video. Very intriguing. And keeps you glued to the screen. your tank look beatiful. I know how much work you put into it. Very well done....
Thank you!
One thing i like about your tank is that it looks natural. Most tanks, including mine, don't look natural with their mix of sps and lps with ultra blue fluorescence that looks very artificial.
Most people go through, it takes a while to figure out the scape and corals. With another aquarium, I've sold some corals buy new ones until I got the shape I liked.
So don't worry, everything evolves :)
Excelente video. Saludos desde Argentina.
Orbrigada!
Wow, such a nice video 😱👍
Thank you
Excellent reef tank and excellent aquarist... 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝
Thank you!
Your videos are awesome man 👍.
Thank you!
Thanks for the great video. Tipp: The chaetomorpha probably melted because of a) too much light or b) too less flow. In a low nutrient environment (your tank looks very clean) you need surprisingly little amount of light. In my mini-refugium I needed to fix both issues.
Hey!
Good comment, It's probably light (strong) vs amount of nutriment (low) but I don't know for certainty
The unknown creature at 1:34 is most likely a type of spaghetti worm, which is harmless and often considered beneficial cleanup crew.
I actually have one in my 20g nano and he just sits in the sand bed and waits for detritus, fish waste, and even fairly large pieces of uneaten food to eat. They look super creepy but they definitely have benefits haha😂 love the videos, and the tank looks great. Keep up the good work!
Try and see if you can find some of the fine variety cheato, as opposed the brillo variety you have now, for your refugium. You can tell the difference because the fine has much thinner and more pliable strands than the brillo, which are thicker and easier to break. The fine will grow faster overall, in more intense light, and suck up nutrients like a sponge.
Hope that you're able to get a replacement companion for your shrimp, it's rather sad to see a reef tank without fish :(
Dope vedio ... noice ..one day I’ll be like you brotha
Nicely done, really enjoyable 👍
Have you tried an iron supplement for your macro?
Thank you, yeah I did in the past the my dosing cover this as well, shouldn't be a problem. I had a tank a certain point where I had no iron, but it didn't affect the chaetomorpha survival, just terribly slow down his grow which is logical
Tubastrea babies. So cool! I was wondering what you were talking about yesterday. Know I know😃
There's so much of them in my aquarium, it's incredible! I don't understand how some of them survive to be honest... maybe I tend to feed a lot (which cause me some issue... but water change...)
@@AquaSplendor I would rather have too much nutrients than too little. Way easier to manage.👍
those purple and green candy canes have the craziest sweeper tentacles.
I have never seen them more than 1cm with mines.
2:17 - Unless I'm mistaken, this may be colonial hydroids, or perhaps some form of sessile jellyfish? I've read that these can deliver a rather potent sting to corals, and can spread rather quickly if not managed. I sincerely hope I'm mistaken. (I've been dealing with a couple hydroids on the end of a chalice frag I purchased, and they're quite the nuisance to eliminate)
Its so sad seeing the pistol shrimp living without his best bud :((
Yes :( Very much, I try to feed him directly with the pipette under the rock to make sure he eats. I can really tell he's missing his buddy
Suspect your macros died due to touching the heater!
I noticed no nozzle on the tank u should try out the vca random flow nozzle
I thought about it, but it's too big. I do my best to hide everything in the display. I just want to see the animals.
Mmmh looks so tasty. Add some garlic butter or olive oil and fleur de sel and it must be delicious.
Arrête moi ça toi!
Another amazing and very true video. I started my first reef tank as a nano reef inspired by your series (4mo. and going strong with an anemone thriving which is a good sign of stability for a tank this young). Speaking of this, I was looking for recommendations for my next tank as I am quickly outgrowing my current 14.2g. I was thinking abt 25g-45g and I wanted to look into a shallow / lagoon tank. I am not against for or against staying with an AIO or moving to a sumped system as I recently turned an old 20g tall into a DIY sump :) Let me know what you think, budget friendly would be a massive plus (and move up my timeline ;) )
Honestly, Sump are the best thing, it make things so much easier. I don't know which tank is the best for you honestly, there are many on the market. What ever you choose, take something that make your life easier for maintenance.
Another thing to consider also: You can start timing your tank instead of getting a bigger one. But I can understand if you want bigger ;)
and thank you!
@@AquaSplendor It's not necessary that I don't have enough space for corals, it's that I've kinda grown out of that tank as a reefer. I want a bit more livestock than just my clowns and a goby/shrimp, I want easier to control parameters and I want to set up the tank in a better way than I did with this one (drilled, type of sand, sump, ect) So I'll probably keep the tank and use it as a softies / qt tank
@@BriceLijewski that's a good plan 👌
What camera are you using?
I put all the info in the video description, check it out!
gorgeous, is the tank a waterbox? thx 4 sharing, peace†
Thx, Check the description of the video, all the info is there and how I made it!
Watch out.........suncorals are very agressive.
What are the dimensions of this tank?
Hello, check in the description of the video, all the info is there :)
@@AquaSplendor oh okay, didn’t see it at first. Thanks
No problem 😊
What coral is that? 4:31
Green Pocillopora
@@AquaSplendor Thanks! So, it's very invasive? :O
@@SalamanderFangskin Yep yep yep! But it's a fun one, if you want to start SPS , it's probably the easiest one. Just be aware of prolification. In nano it's fine, easy to remove if it bothers. But big tanks, it can be a pain in the butt
@@AquaSplendor Oh, that's excellent! Thanks for the information! 👍
Ton chaeto c’est désintégré a cause de ton chauffe eau, le mien a fait la même chose et sa ma apporter un pique d’ammoniac, essaie de placer le chauffe eau dans un autre compartiment 🙂
I love the sexy shrimp
