Other than the main characters' occupation and earthquake scenes, there's really nothing alike between both DOTS and YAMH. In fact, I actually think this drama has a more interesting storyline compared to DOTS though DOTS is more advanced and a well-made drama with its medical scenes. I enjoyed YAMH so far especially the chemistry between Captain Xing and Mi Ka is fantastic.

Besides this leading couple, the other two couples Keyao/Dr. Shao and Captain Xu/ Xiaoxia are great. Even the supporting actors like another Dr. Chen Tao and the SWAT team member Li Nian have made the drama animated. You can also feel the chemistry of them all working as a team. And the music is wonderful. It's a drama worth sharing with more people.
Sandra Ma is divine...the collaboration here with BJT is like wow, so nice. You can feel their chemistry, they are so good together, and the visuals...nice😃👍😅 oh and BJT looks so handsome in uniform..😁😅👍

只能说演员搭配得很好，剧情只是注重男女主角，这套戏，是我唯一迷上的一个爱情连续局 毕竟自己也比较喜欢医和警察

This is based on a c-novel which came out way before DOTS. There's really nothing similar about the 2 shows except for their profession.
