The only voice of reason in this piece is the wildlife ranger. The villagers are living directly at the border of National Park, so actually not the tigers are coming to them but they went to the tigers. The locals are also farmers and livestock breeders who practice a type of herding that encourages tigers to strike at the opportunity of free roaming prey. I have a hard time underrstanding how there is no law that prohibits settlements in National Parks. It's so counter-productive.
this means the tiger dont get any food or are driven out of their usual hunting grounds... something else other than the village expanding must be the deeper reason for these tiger attacks, at the same time, the tiger doesnt seem to be starving.
The humans are the problem, not the tiger. They need to stop cutting down the forest, destroying and encroaching into the tiger’s habitat. I strongly dislike the style of reporting and depiction of the human-wildlife conflict in this piece. The root causes for such conflicts are very obvious. Yet they are ignored. They lie completely in the agricultural expansion and exploitation of forests for the palm oil production. The worst thing is the portrayed locals are just as much the victims of this practice as are the tigers. Unless the Indonesian government diversifies its agricultural production and becomes more independent from the rich Western and Asian countries whose demands it is trying to satisfy, there is no hope. Also, Indonesia is one of the countries that will be hit most severely by the climate change induced rise of sea levels, more frequent extreme weather and general heat waves. It's like digging your own grave. This poor beautiful country and the poor beautiful creatures it inhabits.

Tigers attacks are rapidly increasing also in northern India..in one month man Eater killed 5 people in jimm Corbett National park..
Biarkan saja untuk mengurangi. Populasi manusia
Indonesia has a ridiculously high population of humans, and has already lost 2 tiger subspecies to extinction. Tigers are critically endangered and need to be protected. Humans need to stop hunting tigers too.
9:50 is badass punchline!
Wahai pak kades, bukan harimau yang salah tempat, tapi manusianya yang terus merusak habitat harimau!
#savesumatrantiger
It means there are no prey in their natural habitat. The solution is people who live at there should change the way of farming.
Yaitu kepunahan..
Yaitu mereka tinggal sebelah hutan lindung.
setting every thing aside am I the only one that things these tigers are so pretty
rebutan habitat
in Riau Province, especially in Kampar District, we called the tiger as "Datuk" it means "Grandpa" deep meaning is the Tigers are the owner of the forest, most of the villagers works as farmer, we live from the forest so that we should respect the owner of the forest, we dont bother each other, but ya in reality there are always stupid people did bad things, they do logging, burning, and also hunting. so the owner lost their food source and then they came out to the village to eat the livestock and sometimes the villagers, this earth is not belong to us, we are human should extinct first, not them.
Never
Matt Powell has an inflatable banana in his backyard which he calls Dr Peel.
Sad to see that every animal on this planet lives in balance with their habit, except humans. We move to a place, destroy everything, multiplay like a parasite and move on to the next place.
Stop building houses. Problem solved.
this classes beetween human and nature is giving us unfinish dilematic problems
❤ indonesia,salam dari palembang
Pay compensation like india ntca gives wen a tiger kills cattle in protected area...rs 15000 on an average for per cow...its very common in india...india has done get work by relocating sucg core area villagers with land n rs 10 lac per family
how are you going to be mad at the tiger when it acts like a tiger when you knowing moved into their territory and put prey animals where they hunt... make it make sense
ahh natural selection 👏
Yeah, you
they need to set a trap with open cans of tuna as bait.
i read somewhere that tigers love cans of tuna.
Why should they trap tigers? The humans are the problem, not the Tigers.
@@hmalik5232 it was just a Calvin and Hobbes joke.
Save tiger in the world plzzz. Semoga harimau sumatera tetap lestari di alam liar. Jagan biarkan dia punah
Make them sign a contract, like I won’t kill people or animals for the agreed amount of time. Problem solved
Who is the biggest terror? Human or the tiger?
Of course villages still exist right next to places where endangered species live
Funny how humans destroy tiger habitats and than complain about tigers going after their cattle. Makes sense.
They're hungry too let them eat let us preserve the nature
Harimau sumatra sangat unik mereka tidah hanya memakan daging tapi juga buah durian
Asia and propaganda, name a more icon duo. We humans come closer to the tiger homes, not the other way around
Lol atleast asia still has alot of wildlife compared to Europe
hey stupid Europe they are poor people do you still have the heart to see that stupid Europe you made co2 why did you tell us to fix it.
The Bali and The Javan tigers be happy fr
Please move your house the 🌎 is so big, Indonesia is so big !
Oil Palm plantations greed and overpopulation tigers are almost extinct maybe 400 500 in all of Sumatra. Indonesia has 100s of millions of people so to lose a few and some cows no real loss there.
The human becomes a victim beceause of his cows.... how can you call your self a pharmer and not having a protective enclosure for them.... you cant let your cows in the jungle alone and than wonder....
We're the terrible creatures who terrorize millions of animals and their families daily. What a bad caption, vice has really gone to the dogs
its their habitat we should stay away from their territory
The people are already out of its territory, the government marks the Location and area of the tigers
What picky Indonesian tigers! Having killed the cows, couldn’t the carnivore eat the whole animal instead of just picking portions? Colossal wastage! There are starving humans in other parts of the globe!
That’s ur takeaway from the video?
@@randomstix3351 you got problem with that?
@@hendle2055 clearly I do lmao here’s a better idea how about we don’t let the cattle roam free at night at the border of the forest where Sumatran tigers are known to lurk?? They’re giving it a free kill practically encroaching the tigers to come closer cuz it’s free meat. If we stop giving it free meals n over hunting n depleting it’s prey it’ll go back into the forest because there’s no food(free cattle) at the border then u don’t have to worry abt them “wasting” n what not
You are so stupid. Tigers are critically endangered and several subspecies have gone extinct, while humans overpopulate the world and wipe out species and habitats.
The humans are the problem, not the tiger. The humans encroach into and destroy tiger territory as well as poach tigers. The humans also let their cattle roam near the tiger territory with no fencing.
Why don't the villagers mass breed native deer and release into the forrest to stop their livestock being preyed on.
terbaiklah Bapak yg bicara d akhir video
They should learn leave together in the harmony ( tiger and human)!
Build a wall
Idiot
Yes lets educate the tiger on this problem and hope he will respect our species choices of destroying his habitat and leave us alone. Im sure if we just talked to him he would agree lol.
These tigers are not the problem. I’m sorry I’m gonna be brutally honest, and I got multiple races in my bloodline Spanish Asian from Europe to Africa to down to the Asian. I got a little bit of everything so well I’m gonna say a lot of people ain’t gonna like but tough shit. Don’t take this. Tigers are in danger because of people in them in the countries they live in Russia And most Asian countries they moving in they going into their land killing of the animals that they supposed to live off of and then they expect them to hunt some thing else and then they’re clearing everything and putting different things in there so all the animals leave, so what do you expect them to do they gonna eat you and they’re doing what they’re supposed to do people need to wake up and start doing something about this because if I had the money believe me, you wouldn’t be walking is earth if I found out you were hurt and one of them
sad but true
Stop taking their habitat!
It good respect the boss tiger
jaga harimau!!! manusia jgn mau menang sendiri bener kata pak Albert 👍
China let me introduce myself 🤣🤣
Remove the forest cover pay for it with your lives.
Sumatran tigers will become extinct in the mere future
mesti nya polisi hutan tembak bius kemudian buat ring khusus suatu tempat habitat nya.
When theres no more food in deep forest, stop hunting wildlife stock.
Tiger kill cow & human 👨🐮😔😥 Did you get money from the Government....!!! i think the Government need to fencing...🙂
Move in the tigers home
Guys you didnt know about RJVX12?
