If I was in this room feeling Josh’s drums and Tyler’s base reverberating through my SOUL I’d never leave. I also don’t think I’d get over the post concert depression
gotta love thar little recovery josh makes from thinking it was back into the verse @1:40
True
Yup noticed that too. He was going into the floor tom groove! But he kept that beat going and didn’t drop the beat.
Can someone explain this for the non-drum aquatinted?😅
@@guthriehartsfield9499 I'm a drum player, but I'll try to explain it in simpler terms. Josh went to the drum pattern for the verse too early (said pattern being the steady drum beat on the floor tom, which is the low boomy drum on the far left of the drum kit from this video's perspective). The reason why OP says he made a recovery is that even though he switched to a different pattern at the wrong time, he kept the proper pace/speed going and switched back to the correct pattern (the groove on the hi-hat, which is that cymbal-looking thing on the right side where a drummer often keeps the tempo) very quickly.
@@MechaKnuckles much appreciated!!
this intro is the best
i agree

i would have DIED if i heard this live
I did die a little bit
Believe it or not, this song is in my top three favorite songs of all time!

“I have none to show to the one I love but deny deny denial”

Heyy guys I need some advice
I'm looking to attend one of the European concerts.
But it's a far journey(closest twenty one pilots) and extremely expensive.
I've got a job and saved up though and have been wanting to go since vessel came out.
But it's at a music festival. I just want to know if it will be a full set like the normal tour concerts. I don't want to spend and travel soo far only for them to play a small set.
I really really wanted to go and see the boys from sooo many years now but I was always broke and they never played anywhere nearby (I live in Asia)
Any advice will be helpful. Thank you!
A festival wouldn’t have a full set, also they’re only playing this specific set list at club shows
@@FX7yt what do I dooo. I really want to see them live before I can't again.
It's been too long a wait now
Do you think they'll pay the full normal setlist at one of the festivals?
@@blackfish16 they never do, they play close to it, but personally I prefer concerts.
That being said, I saw them at a festival and they’re still amazing, they just play a couple less songs
Actually this tour the setlist for summer fest was almost the exact same as the rest of their tour, excluding the club shows. The only difference is they played a shorten version of migraine instead of the whole song and they added never take it and redecorate for the arena tours. But this is the closest I’ve ever seen a festival set list to the tour set list, assuming they do the same one as summer fest, which they probably will
i don’t think it’s a FULL set but it’s close! if you think you are able to go i would go see them! i traveled from canada to go see them in denver!
Does anyone what effect hes using on his bass?
I've wondered the same thing for a while 😂
the drums on this song are so weird
Probably cause the original was more electric drums
@SOLAR CA7 im not talking about the sound of the drums, I'm talking about the pattern in general
It's a very strange drum section but it makes it fun to learn/play.
