I think they’re heat sinks so that when the water is poured on, it generates more steam than if the water was poured onto an empty oven tray. Those lose heat too quickly cuz they’re thin(?) That’s my guess.
@@yuno6083 The same thing is accomplished with a glass or metal boil full of boiling water. It has been done that way for a long time. I've used that method for 45+ years.
Try for spicy Prawns, Shrimps magranted well with vegan flour. We are never using real prawns or Shrimps. Just like puffs but taste like prawns, shrimps !
