Some comments here really went very far. I couldn't agree more that both Loona and Loveleez are amazing talented groups and they didn't deserve all this. And this collab between these 3 super talented ladies proves how well they blend together. The fact that Dreamcatcher survived thus far is 50% luck, 50% hard work and 100% because of their global success and millions of fans. Also, still calling Dreamcatcher nugu is really very funny now. They're at #4 of the Gen3 K-Pop Girl Groups of All Time (#15 in total), with over 1.25M albums sold and are still active, with a company with their name on it (DCC). With multiple global #1 spots in over 25 countries (Justice). And all this happens without charting high on Melon or getting support from big media conglomerate. They're just really loved outside of SK and they're one of the best live stage performers in the industry. So people really love them and appreciate their music and talents.
Watching this in 2023 and only Dreamcatcher survive from the 7 years curse and the only group didn’t join queendom curse feel like dodging so many bullet like in the matrix movie 😅
pardon me, but this has nothing to do with the seven-year curse (which is a fairy tale). it simply has to do with the general inability, with the wrong priorities, with inappropriate approaches, with the hunger for power, with the greed for money, and with the lousy character traits of the people in charge of the respective entertainment companies. moreover, nothing good can come out when merging with a highly americanized company (woollim allied with sm entertainment). and nothing good can come out when an arms trading company, owned by a giant conglomerate, creates an entertainment company, which in turn creates a subsidiary (ilgwang, now called levite united, founded polaris entertainment, and polaris founded blockberry creative).
