Laurence Connor - they"re downright noisey, the carriages stink of stale urine and it's unbearable in the heat. The line that passes my house cost £550m ( and the rest, that has never been revealed ) and shaves a full 6 minutes off the 38min it takes for our superb bus service to get into the centre of Nottingham.
It takes an hour and a half to get from my town to Bury St Edmunds and our buses haven't been updated since the early 90s.... we'd kill for this service lol
I was gonna say. thats a really tight corner to take at speed
1:53 sounds like a jet engine
😅😅
Probably because they might follow the speed signs for how fast the tram should go.
2:24 - Looks like the train won that race.
ojamalio Yes the train won that one need to get them closer next time of I can time it right.
Lol
Nice video

Yeah your right, you can see the concrete where the platform edge would have been had it been built

These wonderful trams seem to be the greatest thing to happen in Nottingham since that nasty sheriff guy was chasing RH about.
Between 1:45 to 2:00 why where the trams power cables down?
Low bridge. Pantograph comes down and then up in the other side

80 km = 50 mph?

Make sure no damages are harmed on trams with that speed
How come they dropped the max speed from 80 to 70?
The new Alstom Citadis Trams can only do 70km/h.
I bet they hunt a lot at speed.
Do they catch much?
