This is going to be such an awesome week. I could watch snow-mo footage of a Bell 212 flying in the mountains all day. Add to that a world class skier in absolute world class terrain... So good.

I honestly don't understand how this channel doesn't have over 1 mill subs! the cinematography of every vlog is perfect and always entertaining
If you take a look at where he was a year ago with his sub count... 23k. His sub count has risen 20 times within one year! He gained 75k subs in the last 30 days. Next year this time he will probably have 2-5 mil subs.
just insane how near perfect every vlog is and the B-roll is spectacular
Would be even better if the compression algorithms of RUclips were less aggressive. For example I am sure that 1080p uncompressed footage from their camera(especially the RED camera) will look a lot better than the 4K version on RUclips(Though on RUclips 4K compression is less aggressive than FHD compression).

I agree with you on that, I love seeing these guys succeed. Problem is with a big channel comes people who aren't here for quite the same reason we are. I like Jon's fan base and this community, it would be a shame to see it be overshadowed by people who just want attention.

Jon, I've been following your blogs on and off for 6 or 7 years now, and I must say that throughout all of the different accomplishments and activities you and the team have been able to achieve in the last year, its obvious to me that skiing really is when you're at your happiest! I live and work on a small island for 8 months of the year, and sort of get over skiing each year, only to return to it and wonder how could I want to do anything else. I loved the "Life Upside Down" years with all of the euro traveling via ski-transporter. Hope to see more this winter!

"Story is king" - thats why i love casey. His vlogs told stories, and the cameras where just there to serve that purpose, as tools. No need for 4K, or slow-mos all the time.
But the thing is, I like these videos! I like the quality of the clips!
But are they vlogs? More montages? VLOGs for me, are more real and not big production and editing.

I think you should do vlog like 4 or 5 min long and boath edited, so you would have to diffrend vlogs and then put it together. I would be cool because you and we could see both editing skills and like how who thinks. Just idea maybe for 300 vlogs.
Why people complain about the music choice? I think its great and it matches with the happy adrenalin from skiing. Skiing its not something that you slide down the mountains and chill at the same time. And can someone explain me how he manages to make such a good quality from Go Pro? Is it from the camera quality or from the color edit?
