Idk if you have a video on a double longspring trap mod, but I'd like to see one of those. Just got some Bridger #3 double longs for northern winter coyote.
I have used snares but you have to be careful with them, they work best in my opinion on a fresh kill sight or a bait station. You don’t get to turn loose something in a snare
@@waynegraham7611 no one believes me because I had my rifle and I didn’t shoot it but I seen it for around 30 seconds within 200 yards and watched it walk upright across a rockslide
@@waynegraham7611 it was standing behind a elderberry bush when I first seen it, at first all I could see was it’s head and thought it was an owl in the bush until it walked out from behind it and went across the slide. It looked over at me twice never stopped and never ran just went across the slide into the timber. I looked for tracks and hair but couldn’t find anything! The bush was over my head it was standing behind
I watched the work of many trappers from your country. I studied with them, now I catch it myself👍 thanks.
I have been doing the same thing, trapping wolves in Idaho is pretty new so I’ve watched how others have been dealing with them! Tight chains
Thanks for taking your time to show us the way you make your set. Enjoy watching your videos .👍🏻🇺🇲

Your living the dream in the big country god bless
How far do you set your shock spring from the trap & how long of chain do you generally run in these sets?
Thanks from BC
The shock spring is down from the trap about 10” and I use 10 to 12 foot of chain on my wolf traps
Thanks for sharing what and were did you get your pack from thanks
Got it down at a fur sale in Glens Ferry Idaho last year
Great job. Glad you're dad sent you a wolf.
Me too, thanks for the support

I don't but I'm gonna set some up this summer
Do you ever or have you had any experience using snares as opposed to leg holds? They seem way cheaper and you can put a lot more out it seems.

@@lobopropredatorcontrol Gotcha. That makes sense. What kinda traps do you recommend for a beginner? Like a good setup to get started?
The Duke 850 or the MB750 are both good traps that are on the cheaper end of wolf traps and both are good traps
A Great, Сlassic Production .👍 Nice Traps MB# 750 Alaskian Wolf 👍
I like the mb750 in the dirt but I the snow I’ll start using some bigger gear!

Good video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the kind words, I’m getting ready to download another one right now
In idaho dont we have to put the metal tags with our name and address or license number on each of these too?
Absolutely yes. Every trap needs your information
How do you find your traps. BY GPS or?
Just remember where I set them, I don’t set a big amount
You're Awesome.
What do u use as pan cover?
Coffee filters
Nice set...
What do they pay for one of them dogs this year?
Depends on the unit but up to 2500$ for the units that have a high cattle mortality do to wolves
Do you even run into anything out of the ordinary out there on your travels?
Seen a Sasquatch once up skumchuck creek but everyone thinks I’m crazy so I stopped talking about it
@@lobopropredatorcontrol that’s awesome bro, your one of the chosen ones ! Wish I had that luck , one day ! There out there 💯%
