Thank you so much for all your SH5 tutorials and videos. They are so helpful and interesting to watch. I appreciate the time / effort you've gone to to create them. xXx
very helpfull. I play with SH3 + GWX 3 Gold mod, so i adapt the method to the map tools provided. They are different but also good. I kind of understand the "didactic" of this vid, but it is fair to point that you are in a extremely good position to take measurements. And i also have to point that using this method for every single of the 14 torps of the Type VII it is a tedious business, so learning an easyest way to attack should also be addressed
How are you modifying the lines like the protactor you already laid down? I have to draw a new one everytime. You were somehow able to grab it and move it. Edit: Nvm, you cant modify the lines when the game is paused.
Hey....great vids....lots of good info. Hope you're keeping up with this, I know the game's a bit old, but there aren't any more decent sub sims out there right now. Question: I'm running Trevally's patrol scripts in a patrol area and, the first time I did this, I went 45 mins real time, and never found a contact I could chase down.....does it normally take that long to find targets? Or am I doing something wrong?
Yup, and I figured part of it out. When you find a sonar contact you need to surface and try to run it down at flank speed. Not an easy task if you're not using auto-update for map contacts. You have to keep stopping and dive for another hydrophone sweep. Any other advice on finding targets would be awesome..

Oh, one more thing. What mod gives you the colored lines/marks on your TAI map. I find my marks really hard to see. Thanks.
Nm, I got it....I think the colors are in AvM's EQuaTool mod.
thank you brother
Hi, wat do you mean with Key mapper :S i have the same probem with Z key i think :) can you help me pz :D
hm is this right ? your heading is 30. For the first bearing it should be like 258 + 30 - 360 = 72. Maybe im wrong.
"258 + 30" is less than 360, so no need to subtract. It's 258 + 30 = 288
