- In today's video I installed a wireless charger into my BMW E46 M3. With the car being about 20 years old, cool new technology like this is pretty much nonexistent. Thats why this piece made by Induktiv (induktivchargi...) is so cool.

can’t expect the same charging speeds as a wall charger. wireless chargers always charge at a slower rate

e46 Cig lighter is always powered no matter if car is on or off. Interested to see if this would cause a drain overtime on the battery. Nice install!

Hey nice video. Have you had any noticeable drain on your battery since you installed it? I have an aftermarket android head unit on my 04 330 and I need a mini solar panel to keep the battery topped off. Do you think I could install this wireless charger without interfering with the head unit?

yeah this install is completely separate from the head unit
does this have decent charge times? Compared to usb-c wall charging, for example
it’s alright. I wouldn’t say it’s fast charging by any means
