Tyler sounds so positive because he sings about tough issues- depression, self harm, suicide- but with the message that it’s worth fighting for health and life! His voice punches through so well, and the crowd sings along on virtually everything! Their concerts are amazing!
Good news: we’re expecting new music from them soon!!
TOP is the best live concert I’ve ever attended! They have a real connection with their fans at the live shows, so it’s an immersive experience. And this video shows why. They built their core fan base by touring virtually nonstop.
Tyler tackles deep topics, especially faith and mental health issues, but the music is usually upbeat. Josh is a beast on drums! So much energy. They are a powerful duo. And their music doesn’t fit into any specific genre.

It must have been exhausting for them to tour like that, but they built an amazing, loyal, and dedicated fan base by doing that. I may just become one myself 🙂 Yeah I could hear him talking about mental health related issues in this song, but he did it in a very positive and upbeat way which I really appreciate. It'll be interesting to hear how he talks about it in future videos too.
Yeah Josh was killing it on the drums, and they both have a ton of energy. I'm interested to see how many different genres or styles of music they use in other songs.
Welcome to your TØP journey Scott!! I think before long you will understand why we love them so much. Tyler’s voice is so good & he’s the king of metaphors.. you will come to find you will get so much from the lyrics once you start to understand how he writes & have listened a few times.

After reacting to just this first video, I'm already beginning to understand why y'all love them so much, and this is only the beginning of my journey with them. Tyler really does have a beautiful voice, and it was one of the first things I noticed about him.
It sounds like I may have to pay closer attention to his lyrics than other artists I react to, so that I hopefully understand what he's talking about. I think it'll be worth it in the end though.

I knew he was fast in parts of this song but still felt it was a great place to start.. ahh the ending I mentioned is for his Elvis cover can’t help but falling in love. Yeah I remembered that the ending you told me to watch was for Can't Help Falling in Love, but I didn't realize it until after I stopped the recording lol That's probably the next song I'll react to from them, and then maybe Car Radio after that. Twenty one pilots started out with Tyler and 2 other guys he knew but other obligations came into play for the other guys snd the original drummer had josh check them out and that’s how he met josh. @@SonicReactsOfficial

Tyler also plays a handful of instruments - depending on what the song calls for he will switch instruments all show long
They are known for blending genres, great live shows and mixing deep lyrics with upbeat music
The third verse on this song is actually live, no longer the studio version but it's hard to tell bc he sounds exactly the same - the verse is also about his struggle with faith and not promoting God in his music
Car Radio is a great song to do
I hope you do more twenty one pilots. Tyler is a creative genius who has a unique voice. I’ve seen them live multiple times. They put on the absolute best shows I’ve ever seen. You can tell they’re genuine and really put so much work into making it an unbelievable time for the fans. I will never not love these guys.
Even more impressive is that for the final scene of the video the music is a live mix, still sounds amazing! Hope you react to more from these guys.
I love Tyler’s voice too! There’s just something about it - it’s what drew me into the music.

Yeah I've noticed that the auto-generated subtitles aren't always the best, and sometimes they miss a lot lol I thought I'd give them a try, and see how much they caught though.
@@SonicReactsOfficial Best to bring up official lyrics to glance at honestly. Their lyrics are important to their music and heavy with symbolism and multiple meaning you will miss from CC as they are so wrong.

Those closed captions are actually horrible, they can’t keep up either. When I first started listening to them I just had to pull up their lyrics and read along. 😊
