Oh lord, you're at it again 🤦♂️. 1. History doesn't repeat itself in this case ( Russia is an invader this time). 2. German equipment was utilized on Ukrainian soil, not on Russian. 3. The only reason those vehicles are on Russian soil is because Russians brought them there ( Russia wasn't invaded) 4. It's a sad comparison since Russia lost way more tanks and other military systems ( look up what has been happening to Russian aircraft and navy ships).

If you recall the Minsk Accords a few years back, both German and French officials have admitted that they lied to the Russians and used the 8 years of warfare against the Donbas to equip and train the Ukrainians.

@@barbdwyer22 As its become obvious, using Ukraine as a proxy war "to weaken Russia" has backfired massively and exposed how the western countries are giants with feet of clay, as the old saying goes. Russia is on a war footing and has cranked up its productive base to deal with the needs of the front lines as it were despite the fact that only a couple of decades ago Russia had been looted to death by US/UK installed oligarchs. The former "arsenal of democracy" that overwhelmed the Fascist forces in WW2 through over production and logistics in depth has been gutted by 60 years of post-industrial suicide and globalization.

I was in the Marines. If you actually served you’d know what I meant by I.T. It stands for incentive training and in boot camp if you fail to follow instruction or do something incorrectly- you will be disciplined through exercise ( incentive training ). I wouldn’t consider Marine 101 as being disorderly, but then again you must’ve not got ITd enough

Yes thats correct, the german state of today is under occupation and enslavement by the victory powers since 1945. The "Basic law" or constitution of that state are based off of the SHAEF laws which where written down by the allies in 1944 for implementation and installment of a new goverment that should act as an vassal to the winners. I worked for Army experimental developing the AGTv500 turbine engine. It was designed for Siberia. Cold long haul attacks on the northern parts. They redesigned it for sandy areas. We said what they hell. So I used an HVAC idea for intake and a recuperator like the Super Trapp muffler on a dirt bike so we can tune the engine by changing plates. Hurt my back lifting a hot section went to CAD school graduated but they went under moved to Arizona and wecwere left without jobs. Plant is still closed today.

@@Wild-Siberia The bare tracks break down very quickly when trying to navigate paved roads. Since there is almost no "cross country scenario of usage", they left them on intentionally. This is an inherent design problem of those vehicles. In the case of the Leopard you are supposed to switch some pads with the full metal "spares" attached to the front plate when navigating ice or mud.
OK M1(IP) Tank Platoon Leader here. All metal tracks would be better but they tear up roads. US tracks have generally have had rubber shoes/components. German are square rubber pads but unlike US tracks you can bolt on snowshoe metal "X's" to enhance gripping in snow. I often wished we had that feature when my M60A3 and M1 became giant toboggans.

Capturing some ennemy's stuff is difficult, capturing it in a good state is rare, capturing it in large amount prove that there's way too much stuff in the ennemy camp, thoses who are saying that the aid sent to ukraine is marginal are just displaying bad faith at this point, Ukraine has sent almost everything they could to the front line to the point that they're capturing their own peoples in the streets, so long as they look good for combat, they've been fighting for a long time, along with Nato mercenaries, but they're almost all gone and there's not so much stuff left whether we're talking about ammo, weapons or vehicles (or even soldiers), Russia has stayed in a defensive position for two years and were just waiting waves after waves of Ukrainians equipped with an amount so large of nato weapons that it became the second most armed country in nato next to the u.s.
This is ridiculous, some of the weapons sent there are on the wiki on a list and i don't know since how long it has been updated or if we even seen everything of it considering that so many weapons have basically no following once inside Ukraine many has already been sold on the black market so that was really irresponsible from nato countries to send all of their old equippements and most of it's new ones, but what's been sent is way too massive for a country like Ukraine, this is an amount of weaponry only a superpower could hope to get (I even saw things like France cancelling a long term command of cesar artillery for Danemark, that were already produced that were instead send to Ukraine, yet it was still Danemark who paid for it, it's to this point).
So losing all that stuff and being able to capture this many vehicles is a disaster, but it's also a good way too show that at this point even if nato try something they won't be able to do much because we could be sending about as many soldiers than Ukraine had fighting but we wouldn't be able to do much without the weaponry and munitions reserve that are now completely depleted and only our factories can send limited amount of munitions to the front lines, we won't do anything usefull on a war with Russia, except showing the world that russia can take down 30+ countries at once both economically, politically, european is going into a "war economy" but they don't know how to properly do this, they're fully equiped of modern weapons used for insurgencies in deserted areas and specific terrain and conditions, that won't do anything against 10k t-72 covered with artillery and barrage of missiles.
As for Russia they lost many old weapons and vehicles, they've been depleting their reserves as much as possible, and in their case that's a good thing, because the Soviet Union weaponry that they inherited is just absolutely insane, they're no other way to put it, this is a country that have been producing so many differents weapons that if Russia ever want to modernize efficiently they have to make big plans to get rid of all the Guns, ships, vehicles, planes, missiles, bombs, and shells and ammo. But let's be real even if Russia's factory allow the country to replace much of the old stuff, this is just way too much in the inventory to just destroy everything, it would cost way too much time and money and i would argue that even considering how destructive for both side this war is it's not nearly enough to get rid of all soviets armaments in Russia, at the current pace it would be "helping" Russia to deplete their inventory and start the mass production of more modern weapons, build with all the experience learned on the frontline, without a war that goes on for at least a decade thoses will stay there for a really long time, it won't prevent russia to build new weapons but it will be hard to keep all the old stuff in reserves and make plans of modernization in the future.
This was the merest sampling as most captures were prevented by AFU Recovery Ops to Prevent Shame to their NATO Keepers
Of course, Ukraine is 90% dependent on NATO equipment and on western economic, industrial and political support. Even people like the EU's top diplomat Josip Borrell or NATO military chief Rob Bauer admit that IF the flow of western shells, weapons and military equipment were to be fully halted, Ukraine would collapse in a few weeks time (meaning, the Russians would indeed be able to take over Kiev in a month or two). The country is on nutrition tubes into its back order to keep fighting - and they are losing.
The NATO fanboys' talk about how the western support would be "marginal" and "just a few percent of our GDP" is indeed bad faith talk at this point. NATO has failed and there is no way it will be able to scale up to help Ukraine win without sending the flipping regular armies and air forces of the US, Britain, Germany and Poland into Ukraine - which isn't gonna happen, for political reasons. That's exactly where the ready will to "die for Ukraine if needed" stops. 🔥

And if you can't become a Русский, just due to your ethnicity, then you can definitely become a Россиянин, which is just as good as the first option. so speaking English, you can become a Russian :)
