My buddies wife has been riding snowblades, which are similar to the 65's in this video since I met her in the late 90's. They look like a blast, and she sometimes goes backwards just for fun. They really suck in powder, though.
Anyone remember "Bigfoot" skis? I think they got popular in the early 80's.

Now there is Tomsen snowskate, I have them and Its a mixed bag. I love them BUT they have the problem when I have to go off track to hutte or toilet to car etc.. also in France they did not allow me up on some ski lifts.. its a bugger. Now with Snowfeet I had the problem of looking slompy not really safe with the old method. This one. Well this looks like something to try, and they manufacturing it here in Czech where I live. BUT I'm not sure if worth to buy another snow equipment, but I wanna try it. its a struggle.. dammit. :D

I really want to try these with my wing foil wings and fly across a frozen lake or field. No $50-$100 lift ticket. That's your market. The ski industry doesn't seem to support Snowfeet from what I've seen.

Are Snowfeet suitable for powder runs or red (intermediate) trails? Or are there any limitations I should be aware of when using them?
I asked for snowfeet and not the ski version

Sooo...These are essentially snow blades but with adapters for snowboard boots. Skis used to be much longer back in the day than average modern skis now, the reason for skis to be longer is a basic principal of physics that a longer distributed base under the feet is more stable (you can't as easily fall on your butt or face). I've seen adults buy snowblades and return them because they kept falling on their asses all the time. These things won't work nearly as well in powder either. floating on powder requires surface area which these don't have, especially compared to powder skis that are 100+ mm wide AND 160+ cm long. As for ski boots, yes, snowboard boots are more comfortable, but they also aren't as responsive to movement like the rigid material of a ski boot and most people don't envest in good quality boots that have actual quality liners inside. Maybe try doing some proper market research before making claims that skis are design for "racers only".

Nah man, most of slopes are not powder, I use shorter stuff and its amazing, but has some caviat. This 65 seems to give a lot of freedom. Plus they mention the longer is okay for pow.
