hi my teenager daughter suffered cardiac arrest and had a hypoxic brain injury. It is 6 months out and she seems to swallow sterile water okay. Her ability to follow instruction is not entirely consistent but she does swallow when liquids are in her mouth. A speech therapist watched bedside and discussed silent aspiration, but she said we could try a swallow test and see how she does. Is she able to sit in a wheelchair when doing the study? and how do you feel if cognition is not 100%
