a bit different to accidentally hitting the tire in the heat of the race and blowing it and just ramming Kevin with full force on purpose
Kevin never wrecked you on purpose and you know that. Kyle purposely overdrove his car into Kevin at the very end to spin him out from behind. Watch the in car footage from Taylor and Kevin. They both drove so cleanly and had to deal with tons of terrible drivers under steering all over the track.
It’s fine to screw around and have fun but it sucks when the prize goes to 2 millionaires who dont even care about the prize cars. I know Taylor and Kevin could have used those cars to do epic builds for their YT channels.

I just wanna say that I think the Kidney layout was a great change of pace for these Crown Vic races. I think using this layout for LeMullets going forward is the way to go, especially if you install some racing curbs on the apex's. Don't forget about the traditional oval format tho. My vote would be to use the Oval format for the Freedom 500 and other races while saving the kidney layout strictly for LeMullets. It would be a great way to distinguish between the two events. Also just want to add that I think this race had a the perfect amount of both good racing and destruction. Please shoot for this style going forward. Makes these races amazing!!

@@christianbuczko1481 Cleetus has mentioned on Instagram that he would be down for doing a figure 8. You could do it set up like this race with the double kidney with barriers in-between. Now I wouldn't do a traditional figure 8 due to the chance for a bad wreck crossing over opposing lanes..

Man, Kevin is a proper racer! That's the cool thing about this race, everyone remains friends after it.
Kevin mixing it with the big boys shows how lucky you are to have him keeping the fleet in check Cleet, the guy knows how to make go fast.

Kevin is an absolute beast! And he is absolutely correct in saying "Hey, if a professional Nascar racer has gotta dump me to beat me, I'm pretty happy with that." And trust me when I say Busch knows this too! Way to go Kevin, even though you did a little dumping of your own against Bowman earlier! It's the only reason I don't feel so bad about you getting dumped! Great work nevertheless!
I think Kevin rubbed Bowman and the tire popping was just bad luck, rubbin's racing, but what Busch did was pretty Schiesty...

I think it was an entertaining addition and I think the water actually helped the tires last a lil longer by cooling them down.

Despite the water and the transition to the slick concrete, we really didn't see many spinouts.

Now THIS is stock car racing. Way more entertaining than most if not all NASCAR races. Just good old boys having fun roughing each other up. This is what it's all about. Great work guys!

@@sarcastomimic2683 you guys need to check out dirt track and the stuff they used to run there. I forget the classes but from the sprint cars on up are a blast to watch. There's a few channels out there like millennial farmer's second channel called between the rows that has some racing on it. But nothing beats seeing it in person. I used to go to thunderbird raceway near Muskegon MI and it's a blast. Thunderbird raceway has a few videos too

Not only was that the best race put on yet. But the production value was so much better! The lights really helped, the crew is getting better at improving the show every PPV. What i would love to see next is some in-car live footage like the go-pros in this video.
Shame what happened to KSR that was a bit dirty. But the best racers tend to have that in them,

The level of people that are are able to attract to this (nascar drivers and nascar announcers) is amazing. Didn’t do so great when you realize the shitty cages and the window nets screwed into plastic panels…surprised any real celebrity took place in the event let alone real drivers

The difference between the first crown vic race and this one is night and day. I've supported from the beginning and am glad to see every race getting better and better. Both the behind the scenes stuff with the PPV and track teams and the drivers. This thing is turning into a serious event. Love it
Two things stand out, the first, Kevin is seriously fast!
The second, is while names like Formula1, Nascar, GT Racing, promoters and racing leagues will ban everyone from filming and showing vision from their events, Cleetus has everyone else sharing and promoting as part of the larger community, so everyone gets to move forward.

I was against the kidney layout and boy was I wrong. This was the most exciting race yet. Great job to all involved.
I was hesitant on the layout because I was afraid of there being to many wrecks on the indent section, but this was the cleanest race they have had yet I think. That being said I would love for Cleetus to buy some MX-5s or something else small and plentiful like Cavaliers or Cobalts so they could try some tighter stuff. Might have to just go to custom FFF cars ( Formula Freedom Factory). Or just use shifter karts. But between Cleetus's crew, the guys and parts at Motion Race Works and Nitto tires, I think they could design and build some nice little custom tube frame spec racer with a mix of riveted and dzus fastened on body panels. Would be even cooler if it took off and they were able to make it into a sell-able kit car wither its for track only or a street version too.

@@Zankaroo exactly. I figured it would be a disaster since there were SO MANY caution laps at previous races. I was amazed at how clean the race was. It made the it so much more enjoyable to watch.
You should use the unused straight for a pit road.
I was worried about the grass. When the adrenaline flows Cleetus is like "screw it, use it" but how's he gonna feel the next day 😄 🤣

I love that the setup for this race seems like absolute clown town, and then the racing is intense, competitive, and hugely fun to watch. What an event!
Also, if Kevin doesn’t get approached for a seat on a pro race team next year I’ll be shocked. The man effectively held off Alex Bowman and Kurt Busch for half the race! Killer driving!

That was such a sick race, I've been racing my whole life, and this one had me on the edge of my chair. My wife thought I was nuts for cheering for a RUclips video. This is better than any pro race event out there. Do It for DALE.
These races just keep getting better every time. Spent 200 on concert tickets a month back. When I realized that the 2.4 hours was the same night....eff the concert. So, essentially, I spent 220 to watch. Worth every penny

That's short track racing. Kurt even said he didn't use N2O til last lap. He tried to back off Kevin was still turning. Not dirty it's called racing! Been watching for most of my life (42 years) and all forms all have their ups and downs.

Brings back memory's of the good old days of Friday night dirt trackin' with all the mud, grass & water. NGL Though I feel a little for the SXSB guy's being the only penalized team for the pit action on Kevin.... : )
Seeing these pros throw down with regular guys who are just as good if not better makes me happy! Kevin is a really good dude but so is everyone else on the McFarland racing team!

Taylor has had that w swiped out so many times, Kevin and Taylor always prove to be solid drivers.
That was honestly probably one of the most memorable weekends of my life. Sitting pit side was absolutely amazing seeing. Meeting new people and talking to them about anything under the sun was so awesome. Thank you to your crew for making it so awesome. One of the biggest things was meeting Sam, you could just tell that he loved being there and meeting all of the fans.

Wow, so cool seeing the recap too! When the cars are that close you need to tap and bump for every inch. Whats cool is you could tell Bowman was kinda pissed but after he got out and starting watching he was super chill. Of course you want to compete and hate to have to bow out because of a mech issue but I think because its Cleets event everyone is just happy to be there and have a good time that it fades away. Super rad man
Ok. The kidney bean layout made for some epic racing. I thought there would be more chaos than there was but I was wrong. Great idea guys. Hope it stays for more races. Loved it.
I thought the same until I saw it working and then I realised that it brought the whole speed of the fleet down by 3~sec a lap so there weren't so many hard collisions. I hope that they keep it in for future races.

@@josephcitizen4195 I get what youre saying, Both the Busch brothers have had there share of off putting moments so that makes it real easy to have negative opinions about things they do or say. As for Kurt being the type of guy that is an easy hang, i have no clue really. I know many famous people seem to be like this, i always give them some slack because it has to suck to be in the spotlight every second of the day and be judged for each little thing they do. Most people are normal guys that have a few friends that see us do and say silly crap but since they are our friends, they know what we mean and understand where were coming from. These famous people dont get that personal space or freedom so each and every little thing they do gets judged. Kurt might be 100% an ass to some people but to his friends that actually know him, he could be the best guy to hang out with. Either way, it was a fun race and Cleeter gets a ton of credit for the line up he put together and it keeps getting better too!
I would love to see Ken Schrader , Tony Stewert, or some of the other older nascar guys that still drive on local tracks, get in on some FF races.

I get Kevins humility, but if someone has to ask if "Im ok" at the end of a race wiithout even asking if the bloke you just pitted was ok, you knew what you did. Kevin's the peoples champ, and as he said, if a NASCAR driver gotta pit him to beat him, that says everything. What a bloke! #Kevingotrobbed
You didn't see it in this video, but on the live feed, Kevin was at Kurt's door when he got out. So about 60 seconds before Kurt asked that question they were shaking hands and slapping backs. About 2 minutes before that they were up against each other doing massive celebration burnouts.
You must not understand what a 'joke' is. Why would he ask if Kevin was ok? He didnt even spin him out he just pushed him to the side a bit. So many overly sensitive people coming out in the comments section today jeez.
You are also forgetting, quite conveniently, Kevin's SLAMMING into Bowman. He hit so hard that he completely obliterated his front end, tore through Bowman's quarter, AND blew out his driver rear. Kevin just got Karma'd. That's all...
Hand down the best race of each year 👌🏻 even better to see some guys at the top of the league have fun while being serious

Kevin is legit. Hung with Kurt for the last quarter of that race. We bought the PPV for this one. It was so good and entertaining, I will be buying them from now on but I will wait until Friday so you get the $20. Worth it. NASCAR and other leagues need to pay attention to what you're doing. Its 100X more fun to watch.
The problem is at some point they're going to run out of crown vics

I love how the Kidney layout added more challenge for the drivers. Everybody had fun, I loved that. Shot out for the drivers and for Cleetus and is team, I gotta come see this live.
Such a good event, a lot of racing and hardly any cautions. Hats off to Nitto, those tires were took tons of abuse! I was on the edge of my seat for most of the race. Thank you to everyone involved!! Money well spent.
Agree, for a layout everyone expected tons of crashes, and I think had the least yellows of any race so far at this facility.
Now if only Nitto can send my backordered drag radials I bought in October.

That was a dirty hit at the end. He wouldnt have been able to make that turn without nailing Kevin.

Techno was spot on... I thought to myself, "Is the car making a recurring beat type of noise" lol, then quickly realized you put driving music on. Wel done sir. No better music to drive to IMO.

What a great race! I’m glad to see there was actual racing instead of the frat boy antics that plague some RUclips races. This came across as a legit race. I think you have really established yourself outside of RUclips as a viable business.
The man who hada Mexican standoff with a million dollar Nascar says" you lost a mirror" like it's gonna be there in 2 laps. Love it and love seeing all the great folks (Alex B. Kurt B, Vaughn, the giraffe 🦒 and a lot of my fav RUclipsrs) just racing for the fun and pure sport of competition renewed my Outlook on life in general. I think this race was the best one yet. Looked a bit dangerous but the drivers have changed from playin demo derby to stayin alive to keep racing. This in turn made it just as fun and there was some excitement to boot. Too bad for KSR but thats racing. Have to expect the runner up to make his move or lose. Kevin wasnt watching out for that. Great race and show.
When does this guy not kill it. 20/10 content 20/10 events amazing Merch. Gives the people what they want and never has a down moment. Shout out to the McFarland racing team and freedom factory staff. Absolute units
Fantastic bro! LOve seeing Kevin having the opportunity to run with a pro NASCAR driver.. right to the last corner. He did so good. How many regular car guys.. talented car guys ever get to show their stuff.. VERY cool!
I think this was the most fun I had watching a race all year, plus cup people were in it! Very very fun, great job with it all!!!!!

That was the best race I've watched in a long time. The best part about the 2.4 is no one getting too serious. No throwing helmets, no one fighting in the pits. Everyone is just having fun. The nitrous was a really cool addition and the lights so you know when they're using it. I will try to get to the freedom factory one of these days. I'm only about an hour and a half away. That looked like so much fun. Awesome. Thanks Cleetus.
It'd be a good idea to pave (or throw down a concrete slab) the insides of those corners through the chicane. I know this was pretty spontaneous so you really didn't have time to do all that, but if you plan on running the kidney layout next year, (which I personally think the kidney should be the new LeMullets layout) it would be a good idea.
Exactly. I just commented the same thing. Don’t put new grass, threw some tar on there to make the kidney payout better.

Red/white curbs would look awesome and make those turns a lot cleaner 🙂
He said that's the plan on Facebook/Instagram as they were cleaning up after the race.
He said they were definitely going to run this layout again, so they'll concrete those corners.

He just gave a much nicer taste of what Kevin did to Bowman. Kevin hit Bowman so damn hard he obliterated his own front end, tore through Bowman's quarter, AND blew out Bowman's driver rear tire. If you are going to talk shit about the friendly and much nicer nudge Kurt gave to Kevin, can't wait to see what you say about Kevin's HARD hit on Bowman. Unless you are one of those double standards kinda girls...
