You know how to enjoy the simple wonders of life. Trangia 27 is my favorite cooker when I’m not going lightweight. Always reliable. I enjoy your channel very much. Thank you.❤
Thanks Patricia. Yes it has been out for a while. I have 4 of the old ones. The price just keeps going up. I paid £15 for mine ( $19) I have seen the new one is around £30 it will last a lifetime though. 😎😎
Nice day for cooking Paul, If I'm out on my bike I will take Trangia mini with me for its compact size, I haven't got a triangle as were all sold out for last couple of years so I bought an Out D alcohol stove which takes the Trangia burner, Folds up as small but I will get a triangle one day. When camping I tend to use the 27 with a gas burner which I got after your recommendation a couple of years back and will take the mini along too. Btw I tried the tomato and cheese tortellini during the week (at home on cooker) and really enjoyed them. Will get out and cook again on trangia next time. Thanks for the Ideas
@garym2595, Your comment brought a smile to my face as I made the same recipe after enjoying Paul’s video so much. I wonder how many others were equally inspired!
Resealing the bags, either cut a corner of the bag to make a small opening, roll the top right down to a close and wrap the whole pack with an elastic band. Cheap and pretty secure! At home I tend to fold the top of the bag to a close and then hold with some stationary clips, not a paperclip but the type with two foldable handles and a bent ‘u’ shape metal piece at the bottom (I hope you know what I mean). Anything that saves you having to use another form of plastic that you then have to dispose of!
Touch of nostalgia using the trangia paul. Loved it. Id have probably took the 2.5 billy with me. Always think it's a bit footery in that wee pan. Keep them coming. Looking forward to the next one.Ian
Thanks Ian. Every time i use the 2.5 billy i get called greedy lol. I know what you mean, until you own a 27 you don't realize how small it is. My wide angle lens makes it look bigger.
Nice video Paul, curry looked great. I've never thought to combine bothe the 27 and a Triangle together, you are quite right, a great setup for both bike camping and motorcycle camping
Thanks Andy. The triangle is a great stand alone stove on its own for the lightweight camp also. I have cooked whole chickens and roasting joints on them.
I have to get caught up. I see you've been posting and I haven't watched them yet. You got me interested in the Trangia sets. I have a few now. I love watching you prepare a lovely meal, they always look delicious.
Nice video. I made chicken/sweet potato curry on my 27 a few days back. Your videos on the Trangia 27, Got me to try one out. I use mine canoe camping. The first thing I made in mine was the aloo gobi when you first put that vid out.
I always enjoy watching you cook Paul ,the T 27 is a great cook system ,but I would like to have a more rounded fry pan like an egg type skillet ,I wonder if the MSR skillet would work .
I've used a 9 inch high sided wok style pot with the 27 and gas burner and it worked really well for frying and cooking big portions of stir fry and stew. Only the pot I am using loses its non stick coating , perfect in every other way. lol I wonder if the non stick 27 Trangia billy could double as a wok and big fry pan, that way the Trangia would not lose its compactness?
Another good very useful video Paul. Looked a quick basic tasty meal. You remembered your knife this time. I find wooden clothes pegs are very useful to seal bags. Those folding tables are good. I got the same one as you on account of your video and review of it. It has been brilliant. Still going strong. Is the river the river Misbourne? Will have to visit Hughenden again. Went quite a few times as kid. I am a NT member as well. I grew up not too far away but moved away from the area decades ago to the Fens. Flat! Glad you are making videos again. Any plans for a road trip this summer in your van, cooking along the way?
Thanks. i use pegs too. Yes a road trip will happen at some point. The river is a run off from the hills i think. It isn't very long and meets the river Wye in the town.
What a lovely thing to do. Cooking a simple meal in a beautifull spot on the Trangia. I like the spirit burner so much because it is quite.
Great to see you out and about Paul, your next challenge is to cook a full English on a Trangia mini.
Great idea
Love the 27, you've motivated me to get it out again. Looked like a great day to get out. Thank you for the video.
Great video as always, Paul. Keep 'em coming.
Thanks Bob 😎

Thanks Jan i really appreciate that 🙏
Hi Paul. I heard Trangia was coming out with a new Triangle. So far I haven't seen one. That was a perfect spot to cook out of the sun.
Hello,
Trangia presentrd a new Triangle in 2022.
Changed the burner holder so its more stable, and it fits in Trangia mess tin, small and large.
Thanks Patricia. Yes it has been out for a while. I have 4 of the old ones. The price just keeps going up. I paid £15 for mine ( $19) I have seen the new one is around £30 it will last a lifetime though. 😎😎
Nice cooking sets. To seal bags I roll the top over like a dry bag the pop an elastic band over. Cheers.
Nice! I just wrote the same in the comments 😅

Great setup mate bit ot on the cutlery but great Content. God bless you and your family and happy camping 🏕 🙏 😊. Lee
You are a natural at this, Paul. And looking very healthy and handsome indeed. Have to look for some Blackened Cajun spice here in the US.

Thanks Sandy. You should carry the triangle with its small size and ease of assembly. I know you have the click stand one. Great for a brew. 👍
Hi Paul its great to see you. .
🤔 that’s it I’m definitely going to get a triangle along with my 27 now. It’s great to see you out doing a nice hearty meal. All the best Andy
Thanks Andy. The triangle is a great stand alone stove on its own for the lightweight camp also. I have cooked whole chickens and roasting joints on them.
I don’t like taking my trangia on hikes but love it canoe camping. Love cooking on alcohol in the mornings
Cool. Thanks for watching
Doesn’t surprise me that Peter “Chow” Bisseker came up with something that tastes good! Now I want to try it! lol!
You should!
Nice Paul! Enjoyed it brother.
Cheers Terry 👍
Grear film and a nice dish.
Its also a good reference film in discussions about the capacity of T27 and how to enlarge cooking capacity. 😊🔥
Yes it doubles the capacity if you can use the pots at the same time. 👍👍
Fab video Paul, thanks for sharing 😄😄
Have the 25 and the Mini instead of the triangle.
That works well. 👍👍

Masterchef of trangia!! loving your videos! How do you feel about wild camping??
Thank you. I love wild camping and have been doing it for years. I prefer hammocks these days over tents. Unless the tent is a big tepee. 😍

That's Awesome John. I always hoped that people would give it a go. I am really glad you have. They are fantastic cooking systems. 😎😎
Nice Paul, squash it!😁👍🍻all best Will

@@kevinjohnson9533 thanks for the reply.
Trangia do a range of fry pans. The original 27 fry pan is 18cm.
@@kevinjohnson9533 I have used a full sized wok on the 25.

Nice but an awful lot of kit for an ultimate set up if your going to take the trangia kit leave the triangle just carrying so much
I sent this to my Grandmother, not to anyone interested in bushcraft/survival.
