Thank You… I really appreciate your recipes, I have no knowledge of most of the ingredients you use , but I will happily be buying some, I also love how much you enjoy your food 😊
In my house we LOVE the salmon skin. I usually start my baked (or any way cooked salmon in a burning hot cast iron skillet to crisp us/cook the siin part) Do you think, that if I did this very quickly, and then let it cool, that I could still wrap it that way? I’ve never scraped the scales off of any fish so I guess I’m a little tentative.
@@sesa2984 Hi 👋 The salmon skin will taste 100% better if u remove the scales. I don’t think fish scales are ideal for eating or recommended. When I pan grill my fish, I always cook the skin side first on high heat, but for this rice paper wrapped salmon, pan fry on medium heat, and it will still come out chewy and delicious. But you can certainly give ur method a try and see how it comes out.
@@docsachhay Hi 👋 Of course, rice paper is Vietnamese, not Chinese. I only mentioned going to a large Chinese supermarket because they always have so many selections of rice papers (as demonstrated in the video). Unfortunately, finding a Vietnamese supermarket near me is impossible, as it is most likely the case for most people, especially non-Vietnamese friends that do not have access to Vietnamese markets.
@ it’s all good! Thanks for the recipe. I was going to try it out but it requires a few Korean ingredients so I am going to try the Vietnamese version, but the idea of rice paper is wonderful!
@@khawarUAIj Hi👋 Yes, the origin of rice paper is Vietnamese. Salmon is eaten by Koreans and is very much part of our cuisine (as well as being part of many other countries). Salmon is called YeunUh in Korean. As for this rice paper salmon recipe, Gochujang and DoenJang are used as the seasoning and dressing sauces. Gochujang and DoenJang are essential fundamental ingredients in Korean cuisine.

Such a smart way to keep salmon from drying out! Looking forward to making this.😊
Thanks!
Love the tip about butter!
I have been making soysauce/butter for roasting chicken for years.
