    So many good ideas for a rental!! Sometimes we think we can only grow things in pots, but all of this is moveable. Well done!

    I don't think it's exactly a renter's garden unless you can store all the stuff if you move somewhere else that doesn't allow you to plant a garden. But you could potentially sell what you can't take. Amazing how the shed blended into the fence! I would not have used the gravel for paths unless landlord agreed to let it stay. Would be very labor intensive to remove later. Kind of demeaning to ask her if she knows how to use a drill, only to not let her use it! Women can and do use power tools, shame on them to miss the mark there! TFS

    Weeds still come through the mat barrier. Never use the stuff!

      It's not a permanent solution. But it is low cost temporary one. Could pour hot water or vinegar on any plants that pop up.
