Penn St has been a sleeper for so long they actually fell asleep
As a Penn State fan, this made me laugh 😂
So dead on😂
The best sleeper of all time. It’s a painful cycle as a psu fan 😊
I don’t like 👍 to pile on but every summer we hear 👂 Penn State
Penn State lost to Michigan the National Champion by only 9 points and Ohio State by their only 8 points . So that's only two TDs and a kick from winning the Big Ten East, the second toughest division in Div 1 and winning the Big 10. If you believe finishing 10-2 or 11-2 most years makes a team somehow inferior, you are absolutely ignorant of college football
Tennessee is the only one of these I agree with. They have talent and experience and DEPTH at every position and all anyone talks about is that Iamaleava kid.
My sleeper predictions besides the above: ACC - NC State, B1G - Washington, Big 12 - Texas Tech
Legitimately Tennessee.
Based on the comment section warriors, SEC fans will be calling OU a sleeper, if they win a single conference game.
I'm a vols fan and think the same thing. OK is vols first sec game.
I wish you would do a show about Tennessee receivers. But hopefully Tennessee is where they need to be talent wise this year.
The thing about Tennessee is the wr room arguably isn’t even their best unit, that defensive line with big Omari Thomas and Elijah Simmons at that nose and Justin Ross and James Pearce screaming off both edges than chandavian Bradley rotating on the edge to keep legs fresh.. Vols just got get their secondary figured out and they got a squad
I have found a video on every thing but the wide receivers. To many ifs and was just looking to see who is healthy and who's in.
@@MikeHawkbabyAnd don’t forget Caleb Herring and Tyre West and Weathersby!
I don’t get how Penn State has had so much talent come in and out of the program yet still has stayed at the same level since 2016
@@greenwave819 Michigan sure ain't facing cupcakes this year wonder how they will do now with cheats disabled as well! 8-4 I am thinking.
PSU has been overrated for DECADES!!! Nothing new to see here!!
acc- Cal and Georgia Tech
sec- Missouri
b12- West Virginia
b10-Penn State
Ooooouh. Cal and GTech are good picks. Didn't consider either.....therefore SLEEPERS.
Missouri....too much convo around both them and Ole Miss. I'd choose either OU or Auburn.
WVU is an excellent pick
Gotta go further back in the pack than Penn St..... Nebraska is a team that can come out of nowhere....especially considering schedule.
Bigten:Maryland
Sec:uf
Acc:Syracuse
Big12:ok st
u cooked lowkey
appreciate the luv gang
Positive comments on your own post smh. Low energy move
@@jeremygreenberg5703😂
PSU’s whole shirt has crumpled. James Franklin and his entire staff, no matter how many times the OC/DC and positional coaches have turned over, cannot win the big games. I’d love to see PSU in the running, but absolutely nothing has given me any reason to believe it will be any different this year. They’ll be 9-3, 10-2 on the fringe of playoffs.
If I was a betting man I would say if no major stars get injured for long periods of time 99% sure they make playoffs but they sure ain't good enough to win it all.
ACC: NC State
Big10: Nebraska
Big12: Oklahoma St
SEC: Tennessee
I’m actually excited for Tennessee!! Should be a good year for them.
I appreciate your sober analysis. Arizona does have a good chance to build on last year. Winning the Big 12 will be a task but these kids are up to it. Fifita and T Mac are special kids. O line is strong and defense will be sterling. Its going to be a good year for Wildcats.
Cant wait for 5 more years when there is a 120 team playoff. No regular season. Just playoffs
Won't happen
Just stop already
Yep, this is the time of year all the "experts" pick penn state to compete for the B10. Never mind their passing game was atrocious last year and they lost like their 5 best WRs to graduation and the portal. Not to mention the B10 is getting a lot harder to win with the addition of Oregon, USC, WA, and UCLA.
Hey, at least they won't be the 3rd best team in the conference this year, they'll be at best thr 4th best.
I've said it before, not because they're a better team but because they have a more favorable schedule, Tennessee could end up with a better record than Georgia.
If they play well, have a bit of luck, and beat ALL the teams they should, Tennessee could end up 11-1 with only loss at UGA. UGA, on the other hand, opens up against Clemson in Atlanta, and plays Kentucky, Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas all on the road. They could possibly end up 9-3.
That is realistically the best case scenario for Tennessee and worst case for UGA, but not out of the realm of possibility.
I acknowledge it is also some hopeful thinking on my part.
I agree. I think the key games of the season are the NC State and OU games. If you win both of those games and start 4-0 it could be very similar to the 2022 year
I agree with this. Tennessee needs a little luck, but boy they got some guys on the d line and wide receivers corp.
You are 1000% correct about Penn state, it all comes down to our offense this year. Our defense will probably take a small step back but it will still be in the top 10. We have the talent on offense but it still needs to improve or we will be stuck in CFB purgatory.
ACC Miami
B10 USC
BIG12 OK State
SEC Ole Miss
You can't really pick a sleeper team in the Big 12 because, in any given year, the team that is picked last before the season, may end up winning the conference.
Syracuse is a huge sleeper in the ACC. Great work done in the portal by Fran Brown most notably bringing in Kyle McCord at QB. They also have one of if not the easiest schedules in the entire conference.
Good take
Missouri is my sleeper in the SEC, Virginia Tech in the ACC, Iowa in the Big 10 and of course Iowa State in the Big 12!
No one is sleeping on Mizzou. If anything most places overrate them because of the schedule
Big12: Arizona.Noah Fifita carried the team last year after the starting qb got injured
Big10: USC. They have the talent they just had a choke of a season last year. Miller Moss has looked almost as good as Caleb
ACC: don't care
SEC: depends if you can count Bama and Ole Miss as sleepers. The conference is deep this year
The sec is deep every year
USC's D = 💩
My sleepers teams!!! In the ACC- NC State , Big12 - UCF, SEC- Tennessee , Big10- Washington- and at Honorable Mention Wisconsin and Texas Tech!!!
My Power 4 sleeper teams:
Big 12: Gotta' go with Oklahoma State. They were the conference runner-up last year but have the seventh-best odds to win the conference, just about as sleeper as it gets. Joel Klatt mentioned them in his top 25 and made some good points-Ollie Gordon is back, Mike Gundy is a heck of a coach, and Alec Bowman has been playing football so long that he qualifies for a senior discount at Denny's.
ACC: I'm going to agree with Josh and go with Louisville. Well-coached, a lot of returning production, and almost won the conference last year as well.
B1G: Nebraska. I don't think they can WIN the conference per se, but their schedule is very favorable. If the Matt Rhule effect holds true and some of the big 4 in the conference (OSU, Oregon, Michigan, Penn State) get involved in chaos or just disappoint, I can see Nebraska making the conference title game (not a prediction, just a possibility).
SEC: This one might bite me BADLY, but Texas A&M has the ROSTER to make a run in the conference this year, even with all the departures. I think Fanduel or Draftkings has them favored in all of their games except against Texas and/or Notre Dame, so the oddsmakers like their chances against their schedule. If Mike Elko can shore up the locker room quick, that team can give the Aggie faithful a season they've deserved for a long, long time.
Yooooo y'all watch UNLV,,,,that transfer starting QB is special 🫠
Finally, no mention 'Ole Miss!
They aren’t a sleeper lol they’re a favorite😂
@@willcampbell2485you just had to say it, didn't you?
Cause they ain’t no sleeper
I will go NC State in the ACC, Fresno in the G5, Kansas in the Big XII, don't care about sec and big ten
Another year, another "sleeper" in Penn State.
Tennessee or Auburn in the SEC.... Penn State has been a sleeper since Joe Paterno. I'm good with the Louisville pick and I'll say UCF in the Big 12.
I think Auburn will be a sleeper in SEC this coming season. I think they will be 5-0 when they head to play GA on Oct 5th.
Big-12: Arizona shouldn't be considered a sleeper. A lot of folks are talking about that team. Better examples are WVU or Ok State. I would go with OkSt.
Big 10: Nebraska
ACC: Agreed on Louisville, but could be VT or NC.
SEC: Oklahoma or Auburn......hard to choose between these two. Flip a coin.
Acc UNC
BIG 10 Washington
Big 12 Utah or Kansas st
SEC Tennessee
Penn State lost to Michigan, the National Champion by 9 points and Ohio State by 8. Penn state was only 2 TDs and a FG from winning the Big Ten and being ranked first or second in the Nation last season. Also Penn State has made a habit out of winning 10 , 11 games every year. So Josh is correct, they simply just need to generate a little bit more offensive production and they would be in the conversation, no doubt.
If you actually watched those games, Penn St never had a realistic chance of winning. Allar looked terrible at times. If he continues to look horrendous against elite defenses, Penn St isn’t going anywhere.
@@al9685 I agree things need to improve, but not were not in the gutter either. Now with the portal , NIL and the coaching carousel , trying to predict the future is almost impossible now. So who knows what is going to happen.
Ole Miss rocked Penn State's world. 🤣
@@tsully4368 true Ole Miss looked great vs Penn sts 2nd and 3rd string D. Did you not pay attention to how many guys penn st didnt suit up or didnt suit up after halftime? it was like 11 starters on D and O by start of halftime and 7 before game even started. Ole Miss is good though wish they faced Penn st at 100% though. That 3 start RB did not seem like a big loss who went to Ohio St vs PSU's back ups have like 33 carries for barely over a hundo yards.
@@brettk9316 - It was PSU's starting D. Always with the excuses. PSU had 1 offensive opt out (Fashanu) and 3 defensive opt outs. King, Chop, Dixon. Everyone else on was available. Ole Miss D had Cedric Johnson, Edge rusher opt out, and offence was missing an OL starter.
Ole Miss smoked that defense. 🤣
south carolina would make sleeper !!
They see LSU, Ole Miss, OU, Bama, Clemson. Wow!
Go cards!!
My nittany lions still need a lot of receiver help
Glad drew has a true WR1 going into this year and im praying some of the younger guys take a step forward
I think if Trey Wallace stays healthy, he’s an all B1G receiver
A true sleeper is Oklahoma. It literally can go either way with their season.
Go Vols!
NC State, Texas Tech, Missouri, Nebraska
GBO 🍊
i know your talking power 4 but my big time sleeper is fresno state!! gonna be a very sneaky team this year
In my opinion alabama is the sleeper in the sec
Not enough people are talking about Missouri. Looking at their schedule it could very well be the case that they are 11-1 and make the SEC championship
I'm biased but Miami has loaded up in the portal and the ACC is very winnable, but Arizona is another good one
GBO 🍊 🤍🧡🔝⛰️
ACC sleeper is Syracuse
Using this to choose my potential rebuild team for EA CFB 25 😂😂😂😂
Rutgers, Baylor, A&M, SMU
I don’t understand the Tennessee hype. I didn’t get it last year, I don’t understand it this year. I feel like they are still riding on the coattails of 2 years ago
They have a better qb this year. Milton wasn't terrible but he wasn't great either
Everybody is sleeping on WVU , I love it.
UCF-Wisconsin-NC state-Tenn
PS. Miss ST will have a suck season but will upset one big team
Kansas
Arkansas is a huge sleeper. Talen Green taking it to another level.
Hog fan here. No we aren’t. We suck. It’s ok to say so. You won’t offend anyone. We’ll finish 4-8 again
Colorado Will Make Playoffs !!!!!!!!!!
For the big 10… Iowa or Nebraska
We're feeling good. Bring on "cant snap a ball" bama!
Seth transferred to Ohio State 😁
SYRACUSE WILL BE 12-0 🍊🥶
Does this mean Bama could be a sleeper this year?
Wow has the mighty fallen from favorite to possible sleeper hopefully!
Auburn
Ucf is a sleeper
Ucla
I think UCLA's offense with Bieniemy at the helm will be greatly improved. However that @LSU, Oregon, @PSU stretch could be lethal.
Tennessee is sleeping and never got out of bed!!
Penn state is ass
At least they don't cheat to get a natty!
