The only area of the world I would go into the ocean. Terrified of the ocean. But I would love it here and overcome my fears. . .for the most part.
It is safe to swim in the lagoon of Bora Bora. There is many spots where the water is shallow for long distances and the water is calm without waves! The water in the lagoon is also very warm!

40 million is a little but too much for some structure without walls and some huts. No matter how Paradise like it looks, if you don't just buy it to rent it to tourists I don't see how you can live over there

I love Motu Tane. I absolutely hate the fact that it's right next door to the major airport. :-P
“No walls; floor to ceiling open.” Too much open space. I grew up on an island with lush vegetation, and creepy-crawly insects, bugs, and vermin love the tropics too.
