To be fair the original song was gibberish. But for the symphonic versions they add lyrics since people need to be able to sing them. Ultima (big fat tacos), parts of Heavensward, The Worm's Tail all had gibberish before the orchestrated version released.
Personally, I think the shared lyrics with song of hope is perfect. At the end of the day, we and the Amurotians want the same thing, to avert the end of days and live on.
Fits perfect with the lyrics I think too. "Standing tall in the dark do we carry on" and "On wings of hope you rise up through the night" makes me think of our heroes fighting through the darkness then from the other side the Amurotians persisting in Zodiark's darkness.
By watching this video I suddenly realize how similar Zodiarc (and his story) are to the greek ancient story of the titanomachie. Zodiarc exactly resembles Typhon in design: Humananized head, two pairs of black wings, two pairs of arms and serpentine tentacles/tails as abdomen: In the myth, Typhon, born by Gaia (Earth/Order) and Kronos (Cosmos/Chaos), attempted to overthrow Zeus in a last fierce battle for supremacy over creation (Hydealyn vs Zodiarc). In the cause of that cataclysmic battle, the world was shattered but Zeus finally won and casted Typhon into the deep vaults of Tartarus (Zodiarc and the lunar imprisonment), or buried him underneath Earth at Mount Etna as punishement to be forever bound to what he wanted to dominate. The giants helped to rebuild Earth. However, from the blood of Typhon and Echidna (his mate) a lot of fierce monsters have been born that haunted the follow mankind (Ascians) until they have been slain by the legendary heroes (us) ^^

Personally, I wished that they'd changed the "Wings of Hope" part to; "On Wings of Faith you fly through the night, Higher, o Higher, Carrying our hopes, all we knew our perfect world, So that this chorus of Hope takes all! Ever the chorus rings, ever the chorus rings on."
Looks like one of the low level ones as opposed to the purely glamour ones. Which ones exactly, no idea, but prolly pretty easy to find one of em on the MB, preferably as a DoM. Hope that helps a bit.
Spicy take, I wasnt personally fond of the Reddit lyrics. I really wanted to hold onto the fact that it was random Latin, because I just liked it. If I actually looked too deep into the lyrics, they'd probably be difficult to dissociate with the song- like an earworm.
I respect the take. But I actually like the Reddit lyrics. I could just make out some of the words but yeah, it was intended to be random singing and any words made out is pure coincidence.
If you're referring to hungrychad's lyrics for Endcaller. Those are fanmade~ If that isn't it--I think hungrychad's lyrics for Endcaller are pretty dope. More Paragon and Zodiark focused.
@@HigakiRinne just because they are not real spoken words doesnt mean there was no intention to infer a spoken word when heard. its more of a 'left open to interpretation' than definitive lyrics. theres tons of actual songs sung by actual people that sound like nonsense that if you saw the lyrics you wouldnt be able to make heads or tails of how the two are supposed to be one and the same.

Both times the world-first parties were exposed for cheating in some fashion, and both times Yoshi-P wrote a whole blog post about how disappointed he was. I prefer Hungrychad's lyrics more than this one. The (pretend) last boss of the first Arc should have their own twisted and dark lyrics, instead of borrowing the light side's lyrics.
I think in this case it's shown that even the Amaurotians are now crying for freedom over the past. So that they can finally move on from the pains that they felt, and how they've essentially been in a form of limbo over this battle of light and darkness. Their hope is now salvation from all that came before. Especially since now Zodiark has been taken and is being used by someone who isn't wanting peace, but rather destruction.

It also makes me realize how much the ancients were also following the forge ahead lyrics in their own way. Reminds me of the shadowbringers theme about how neither zodiac nor hydalyn did the correct thing. They both killed billions in pursuit of their idea of a better future, hence why azem(strongly implied to be the wol unsundered chose to support neither side and remain neutral) it feels like EW lost this message a bit with trying to make hydealyn seem a bit too good despite all she did. But I think the true lyrics of this song prove that at least the musicians hearts were in the right place

Typhon has nothing to do with Cronus. Gaia was mad that Zeus sealed away her children, just as his father and grandfather did.

Maybe in another timeline. Anima got swap to lv.83 trial boss and Zodiark is replace on lv.90 trial boss, ending of Zodiark/Hydaelyn arc happily.
