@@royh4305idk man maybe that’s his personality type but to be fair he’s super knowledgeable which means he pays great attention to facts and detail which pushes him away from that personality type.
I have found many ‘deeply hidden’ things about our reality throughout my existence but they are irrelevant in the grand scheme of life. Although, it is a blessing to have experienced them they don’t physically help me or anyone; except from my own spiritual growth. When you can see the world for what it is and also understand how the majority of the population live, it’s quite disappointing. Considering all humans start of being very inquisitive and develop a thirst for knowledge, most of us limit our intellectual growth at school or after university and get stuck into routines that are mundane or lack sufficient stimulation.
The first main ‘deeply hidden’ truth that most people don’t acknowledge would be to understand and accept that we homo sapiens are animals. Although, we have nurtured civilisation over the last six thousands years and we have developed technology to such a complex standard that makes our lives increasingly comfortable, we often overlook our roots and have an inflated ego of our existence because most of us are so blinded by consumerism and media that we don’t see the natural world for what it is (I’m not saying that consumerism or media are a good or bad thing by the way, I’m just outlining how all of us are a slave to these vices in one way shape or form) For example, due to the fact people; drive metal boxes to travel around, defecate in porcelain chairs, sleep in beds designed for comfort, eat complex culinary dishes using various techniques and cooking machines, it makes us seem less animalistic, but really we are still governed to follow the same basic principles of most living organisms. We all need to eat, sleep, and excrete to survive, however, due to some of the examples I’ve listened above, we often forget that we are a byproduct of millions of years of evolution. Furthermore, this legacy was built on the foundations that after puberty we all share the innate urge to procreate, this driving force not only brought us into existence but also ensures that some of us will produce children ourself in the hope that our species will continue. Due to this truths you could argue that procreation is the main driving force, in not just the lives of human beings but all existence. In hindsight, this factor reinforces the ‘deeply hidden’ truth that we are all animals. Moreover, when looking at our situation in the solar system you can see how fragile life is considering our planet is in the ‘Goldilocks zone’ and the chances of this occurring are astronomical. Humans are simply ‘parasites living off a moisty rock’. We are just an organism trying to survive and we are lucky that we have flourished during one of Earths most stable periods. Just like all the other species on this planet we exist like we have always existed in cycles of symmetry, where we live in balance with other organisms as we need the oxygen they produce and the nourishment they provide us in order for us to survive. Although, this is biology 101, by consciously acknowledging this ‘deeply hidden’ thing it will help you to see the equilibrium of the natural world and better understand the behaviours of other humans.
