Just to add to the mystery about the alocasia, I'm 99% certain it's a Sedenii.
It seems unlikely as they are relatively uncommon compared to the pink dragon (it's definitely not a purple cloak) but the colour/shading of the petioles, the intense colour of the backs of the leaves and especially the shape of the sinus all point to that. I have both so did a comparison but there's lots of pictures online.
Glad you didn't give up on it :)

Hi Desiree, beautiful plants! I am not crazy about jade, but have one, yours is awesome!!!
When you said Bobcee, I was patiently waiting for you to show it. I got one bc of you! Lol, and I love it! Mine is also doing well and now I know I can chop it some day to propagate and it will grow back, thanks for mentioning that! Happy Labor Day

I pray you are coming along in your healing. Your vids are always fun. Never seen anyone purchase more than one of the same plant, and yes you will trash a plant in a minute.

Hi Desirea, very nice to see you again! I always enjoy your videos and I look forward to them. Thank you for posting.
It’s funny how our feelings for our plants change. I’d had a ponytail palm for 21 years. She was huge, in a gigantic pot. Every summer I’d take her outside and she’d love it. Well, she is not coming back indoors this fall: just last week, I gave her away.
But I don’t think I’d ever tire of your bobcee 😂! I love that plant of yours.

Hi just wanted to let you know your alocasia is not a purple cloak is an alocasia pink dragon. I’m sure it was mislabeled. Purple cloak has different shaped leaves and petioles are dark purple and dark geeen backside of leaves are green with dk purple veins. I have one if you can find one they are great very thick leathery leaves. Hope you can find one. I have a huge collection over 80 alocasia I hope you find one sadly they aren’t great corm producers :( I’d send you a corm if I had one :)

How do you have 80 Alocasias? Everyone I have I had to cut to the nub. I lost a few and have no idea which ones yet. I purchased a beautiful Polly and within a few weeks, all the leaves turned yellow. The ones I really want to grow back are the Silver dragon and Dragon Scale. I don't think I will purchase anymore. I had the green Frydek, and Jacklyn, both hard to grow due to constant attack of mites no matter what I did.

@@hennesseyme9112 0:01 My alocasia live in east window and it grow lights in normal room conditions. I think your over watering if leaves are dropping like that and not sure why your cutting back to stumps, leaves will grow back from stumps. I put my alocasia that are huge outside for summer and bring back in. I have 3 Jacklyn plants oone is in no drain pon others in soil and all grow just as well. Most pot them in too large of a pot or over water. Hope this helps.I eit

@@thumpaharley7564 I cut back because all the leaves started turning yellow or they were constantly being infested with mites. I did make one mistake I forgot about. I used root stimulator on some of them that were not doing well and it killed at least two of them. All the others outside of the Regal Shield are nothing but a bulb. I have a Sumo and Stingray and those are doing well despite being attacked by mites. I found a YTuber who makes his own pesticide and so far, that has changed the game.
