I come from Bosnia (Europe/Balkans). Whole my life I searched for the answers, who and what am I, what is this world etc. I've read about philosophies and religions, physics and metaphysics. Until one day I discovered Zen, from that point on there was no turning back. Here in Bosnia, nobody knows about Buddhism, let alone Zen. Even though I still need a teacher, I found my own way through trial and error. There was no teacher to point out my mistakes so I would lose myself many times. Thankfully we have internet today and we have people like you Branden who film this for us. Dharma is everywhere and being able to learn from masters like Jinen is a blessing for me. In January I move to Germany, I think I will be able to find a teacher there. Deep bows for you and master. Thank you all!
@@BrandenBrazil That would be amazing, sadly I don't use social media. I will create a profile for this purpose when I find some time and I will let you know. Thank you
So JInen is close to Tokyo. Is it possible to be introduce? but I live in the Alps north west ITA any way its nice to listen you and Jinen Roshi than you!
Thank you. In the last 40 years of my humble studies, I noted in various so called Buddhist centers a nichilistic adrift. Due with missunderstanding of Anatta. In my vision, not only mine of course, there is a millenium missunderstanding of this Anatta, which in the Pali Sutta was never brought as a Fixed Theory by Buddha Shakyamuni, but just a draft to help people find the true Self. Please if and when is possible, ask the Ven. Jinen Ròshi, to say few words about it, for the sake of many people looking for spiritual help and that are missguided by nichilistic self appointed 'masters'. Sorry for this bold request! all the best GASSHO. Dan
I will ask Jinen Roshi. You don’t need to apologise. Let me also add that Jinen Roshi has never self-appointed himself a ‘master’ of anything. That term was lost in translation by me. Roshi is himself as he is, and never once expected to be anything more. He’s a humble, wonderful man and my teacher.
@@BrandenBrazil oh yes that's is very clear! I did mention self appointed masters, not Roshi Jinen at all! Actually I see He is very in the Way, in my intuition and you are doing a marvelous work.
hi El Branden thank you very much. You sound english by the sound of your spoken. But you live in Brazil with Jinen Roshi? I think is rare to find a Guide like him.
My name is Brazil, but I am British and live in Japan. I would be happy to introduce you to Jinen Roshi. Find me on Facebook and send me a message: facebook.com/branden.zen

Do you have the zoom practice information with master Jinen. Thank you.

Great! Where dose he lives?
Just outside Tokyo. I can introduce you, if you want.
Hello Branden, is it possible to find your true self without a teacher, but by following instructions of books from old zen masters?
Of course! The Buddha found the way to truth alone. Teachers are just guiding lights on the path, not the path itself.
@@BrandenBrazil thanks branden for your answer! Were you able to find your true self?
@@tuansondinh4664I am a work in progress. Long way to go yet.
