I’m so grateful being a caregiver 15 years ago, dahil dyan nadala ko ang family ko pero after 5 years n magkakahiwalay.Hindi naging madali..Tyaga at pananalig s Diyos ang sandata🙏
I believe the caregiver program is primarily intended for individuals who are genuinely pursuing a career in caregiving. Many caregivers leave the Philippines in search of better opportunities, and this program provides them with a chance for a more stable and improved quality of life. It's important that the program remains focused on those who are committed to the caregiving profession, rather than being used by students or individuals who may be seeking alternative pathways out of desperation.
Hi Ms. Ina, nice to see you in person kanina sa Oishii Sushi with your family and friends❤. I am an avid listener not really a commenter, shy minsan. Finally bumped on you, as I was hoping there'll be a day to see you around the city where we both live in. My name is Jezyl, thanks for saying Hi kanna🥰.
I'm for guaranteed PR but perhaps caregivers must first be on foreign worker status for ten years and then given PR. I think this would eliminate people who will be using the program only as a pathway to PR but aren't really interested in becoming a caregiver for the long term.
The only reason I can think of for the implementation of that program is the increased demand for caregivers. Those currently in Canada have ample opportunity to apply for permanent residency; however, many do not meet the necessary eligibility requirements. yun naman and katotothanan di naman sila pinipigilan na mag apply and knowing naman na mataas ang chance nila na mag PR. sometime truth hurts na may nauuna kahit nahuli at may nahuhuli kahit nauuna pa! peace!!!
I think PRs under Caregiver path can be identified through their SIN, which is unique to them. In short, it won’t be easy for them to change jobs outside of caregiving. Sure meron pa din loophole that can be exploited like accepting under the table jobs. Yun mahuhuli doing this thing sana irevoke agad yun PR nila, para fair sa mga naunang mga caregivers who’ve waited for so long for their PRs to come
True. This will easily be abused with loopholes. Sana natuto na ang Liberal govt, wala lang akong tiwala sa kanila dahil hinayaan nila ang ibang immigration policies na maabuso at everyone is paying for the consequences. This policy is similar to them recruiting nurses directly from the Philippines when there are thousands here already. I bet most of the employers are family/relatives.
good for them PR , na cla, ako non may caregiver certificate, 2 years pa bago maka apply ng PR, wait for soo long for that PR status, good for them , maka work na cla kahit anong work
PR kaagad, well good for them the caregiver should be a legit caregiver. If I'm a policy maker, if they are PR already, I will give them conditions to fulfill, like be a caregiver for at least 2 years or 1 year not restricted to any employer from the span of 3 or 5 yrs after their arrival. if they have no plans to change their careers so well and good, that's the intetion of the program. So if they plan to change. Conditions will apply, Penalty: sum of money/revoke their PR. Once they submitted their proof of experience, their PR status should be tagged as Conditions fulfilled/Cleared . This is I think will make sense not to abuse the program
May frend ako caregiver 2 years bago naregular sa work nia, kung hindi lng napilay yung napalitan nia hindi siya mareregular schedule lng nia 2 days lng..mahirap mag apply sa caregiver
