On your Jakarta - Bandung trip, everybody got off at Padalarang station instead of the final Tegalluar station because there is a feeder train connection from Padalarang station to Bandung city centre. It is roughly a 20-minute train ride. And it is free for WHOOSH passengers since the price is already included in the WHOOSH ticket. So that’s why you two became the only passengers travelling to Tegalluar.

If you want to go to Bandung, the easiest and fastest way is to get off at Padalarang station so not at Tegalular. I just watch your channel about my hometown Bandung, and you guys did not find any city buses... well actually they are city buses and the main bus station located right at the other side of the point you showed the Angkutan Kota 😄 Good to know you both enjoyed your time in Bandung and our Whoosh train.

There are some proper public transportation in Bandung, actually. The city bus in some routes are great experience, they covered some touristy spots also, and if you get off from whoosh in Padalarang, you can take it from IKEA nearby, although from the station you still need a ride. They are comfy and have an AC. Grab car and blue bird taxi also good. And, about foods, what you ate probably in a Chinatown area so it is not picturing Sundanese foods at all because mostly we don’t eat pork. Hope to see you guys back in Bandung.
While you're in Indonesia, please taste the coffee of Indonesian origin. You can try it in a coffee shop or warkop (coffee stall). For easy access, you can find Kopi Kenangan and ask for Kenangan Mantan. It's the best mixture of coffee, milk, and aren (palm sugar). Or in warkop, you can ask for Kapal Api Susu or ABC susu. Oh and did you know that South African Batik called Madiba was influenced by Indonesian batik? The late Nelson Mandela was so comforted by using Indonesian batik given by Indonesia's second president, Suharto, and not too long after, South Africans developed their own batik style.

With Whoosh, now people who livin in Bandung but working in Jakarta using this one as their public transportation. Vice versa, people who workin in Jakarta but hv a main house in Bandung, use this one to come home. So easy in just 30 minutes, rather than taking car, the fastest is around 2-3 hours..
If you’re planning to visit Bandung, I recommend stopping at Padalarang Station and taking the free feeder train to Bandung Central Station. You can also choose to stop at Tegalluar Station for a longer Whoosh experience, however a cab ride from Tegalluar Station to the city center can be costly. Many foreign tourists try the panoramic car in Indonesia. The ticket is a bit pricey but the experience is worth any cent. Perhaps you can plan to take the panoramic if budget is not a problem. It can be 3X of the normal executive class.

PNR trains will be replaced with electric ones and it's connected to modern train systems passing thru BGC, the MOST MODERN little city IN THE WORLD and towards Clark, envisioned to be a green and smart future city. I'm glad that Indonesia is developing but with regards to modernity, it's lagging behind the Philippines as other any country in the world. 😊

@@JogjaCitizen I like Indonesia to modernize because it's near kin to Philippines. There are many similar words in both countries' language and dialects. I think the person who said negative things about Philippine PNR is not Indonesian but somebody who just hate the Philippines. With regards to trains, Indonesia is ahead but what I'm talking about is more about little cities. Philippines is moving ahead fast in developing little modern cities and it's ahead not just with Indonesia but almost any other country in the world. In fact, there are more than a dozen little modern cities still in the drawing board. Indonesia can do the same of course or maybe better in the future. If u want to go to the center of the city, it's better to get off in Padalarang station and take the free feeder train to Bandung station.

Philippines is still upgrading its railroad infrastructure. We Indonesians wish you much success in the future. Asean members should support each other.
Filipinos should ask the United States to help upgrade your railway system, as you are still a colony of the United States.
You're outdated. PNR trains will be replaced with electric ones and it's connected to modern train systems passing thru BGC, the MOST MODERN little city IN THE WORLD and towards Clark, envisioned to be a green and smart future city. I'm glad that Indonesia is developing but with regards to modernity, it's lagging behind the Philippines as other any country in the world. 😊

I hope that your PNR runs faster than Indonesian HSR (350 km/h) as you said Indonesia is lagging behind you. I hope your new PNR trains have different classes : Panoramic, Compartment Suite, Luxury, Executive, Business etc. as Indonesia is lagging behind you. I know that Indonesian railroad infrastructure is number 3 in ASEAN. I believe no. 1 is Singapore and no. 2 is Philippines while Indonesia gets no. 3 and Malaysia no. 4. @@JogjaCitizen I like Indonesia to modernize because it's near kin to Philippines. There are many similar words in both countries' language and dialects. I think the person who said negative things about Philippine PNR is not Indonesian but somebody who just hate the Philippines. With regards to trains, Indonesia is ahead but what I'm talking about is more about little cities. Philippines is moving ahead fast in developing little modern cities and it's ahead not just with Indonesia but almost any other country in the world. In fact, there are more than a dozen little modern cities still in the drawing board. Indonesia can do the same of course or maybe better in the future. I was actually surprised how Indonesia developed very fast when many years ago, it was a poor country. It's good that both Philippines and Indonesia are modernizing. Cheers. 😊

Raise your hand and walk as usual. don't run. This confuses any driver and create a dangerous situation. Pay attention to vehicle distance. If you are in doubt, stop and let him pass. don't cross when vehicles are clustered. Don't rush. every minute there is a free space in a few seconds and that is your chance
